Hi Johnny2000 April 29th - 30th and looking forward to it. I have no idea what hair style i want just to not use dermatch and address hair line and temples. I will prior to surgery post pre-op pics and follow up pics etc for others as the PRP is new offer Dr Hakan is doing so interesting to see results. The main thing im worried about is after the op going and getting lunch etc. Flight home will be a bitch as its getting into holiday season so it will be busy as id like a quiet flight home, at least its late night flight

I would consider traveling as it is an option in this day and age given you have the funds. To me computers have a place but not creating art to which a good Dr will achieve. Why not address your hair loss first before having a Ht as you may loose more hair seen as you are young and the Ht will then look odd or require another Ht.

I am to have surgery with Dr Hakan and i believe he offers PRP as part of the surgery. Anyone know the pro`s n con`s of PRP as a user on here said its bad stuff and caused him major shock loss.

its most likely Fincar Dr Reddys at a guess. It did little for me so i did Dutas and that gave me a big change however it did nothing for me hair line. I have had no issues with both drugs but the risk with dut is higher due to its halve life ie takes along time to clear out the system.. Please read up on these drugs before you commit to them as no person should advise you other than a DR or your own choice knowing the risks.

India is a cheap supplier of internet drugs and can be trusted via reputable website. They may throw in free drugs to tempt you not what we would normally expect id agree. MSM and Biotin seem to do the same. Colliagen can give strength to hair as well

You could consider Finasteride or Fincar as its made in India and inhibits DHT main cause of hairloss. Fincar comes in 5mg and you purchase a pill splitter and quarter it to take 1.25mg daily. Spiro s5 cream could be worth a look at but i tried it and it stinks. I would look at http://www.hairlosshelp.com/ on the forum as that is more geared to a cure than HT site, it has alot of information regarding saving hair. Looks great im getting mine done in April, so great to see your surgery. Which hotel did you stay in with the inclusive deal, also post surgery what did you do about having meals as i dont think i could go to a restaurant. How do you sleep as well as ive never slept on my back

Well i must felicatate your approach as not to bring Dr Hakan into a negative view given your situation. Forums are too easy to voice negative views once behind the comfort of the keyboard I have high hopes from this great Doctor and will follow your and hopefully post my good results

CS88 Do you still consider Dr Hakan with high regards as im to have surgery and im at a loss as to why you did not get what you required. Did it get lost in translation etc. I guess as youre going back to him you must trust his skills. Good luck for your next surgery

I would consider Propecia Minox and Niizoral and see how that works out before jumping in on a Hair Transplant. I think you need to consider where your hair loss is going and what can actually be achieved long term, not a fix for today as it really does not work like that with HT. If you did have a HT it would need over 4000 grafts and in the future given your current loss have a most obvious HT showing.

Hi thefringe I had 500 fue in 2006 with Dr Rogers. It was ok but he did nothing and the assistance did the work with him popping in now then. Im having surgery in Turkey with Dr Hakan Doganay who carries out the transplant his self. Its direct flight bothways and he includes local transport accommodation and food, so its hassle free. So from my point of view i would look beyond the Uk as its a big investment

I really could not tell if it would do any scalp damage. I can see it with toppik as its like dusting your scalp hence blocking pores I wear a helmet n sweat like mad and it stays on and swimming. It also last for years as my tub cost ?25 and im still using it 3 years on.

Could elaborate a little more CS88 on what you are not happy with as this is a concern to me as i will be having surgery in April. Was this to fix a strip scar or poor scalp work ?

Dermatch takes about 1-2 minutes to apply and no it does not come off on white pillow unless you apply to much. best to wipe scalp after applying with toilet paper if your worried about white pillows. i buy it online loads of places but make sure you get dermatch not other brands. How are things going with you?

I have used both and find Dermatch alot better as its more durable than Toppik. I can wear a helmet and sweat swim wear Beainies and it stays on unlike toppik and imoa looks better. Toppik looks greenish in bright sunlight sometimes i noticed. Personally i would try it before scalp pigmentation when your Ht works.

Great to read your post as this is my concern and was fearful of a Dr just going for it and causing major thining in the donor area. I have pretty much same hair as you but use dermatch and pull of a no hair loss look with shave 1#. Please do regular updates pics etc. Best of luck
