  1. Just viewed your pics. Looking good, be patience. You have a long way to go yet but it will be worth the wait
  2. This will turn out great! Really like the way the corners have been done. Good hair line!
  3. Well, this months marks my 18th month mark. This pic was taken last week after one of my best friends MMA fight which he won. Extremely bright lighting. During the winter the hair was shedding (I always shed during the winters) and now it is thicker than ever. I usually have a short hair cut every 2 weeks with 0.5 clippers. Also 18 months on fin with no sides at all. Donor and sides are thick as ever. Note my strong temple peaks which have always looked like this.
  4. Hi Wibbles, at that time I wasn't told how many grafts I have left after my first transplant. I think it became Asmed's patient policy in early 2014 to calculate total graft capacity and to notify the patient the numbers. I do believe I still have a good number of grafts left as my donor feels very thick and if I grow it out for a few months it is also very long. And he has agreed to lower my hairline.
  5. Sorry for the late reply. I do not access the forum much these days. He charges 2.50 Euro per graft. Flight and hotel are not included in the price. Dr Koray can do 3000 grafts in 1 day. So 5000 may take 2 days
  6. Updated pics: It has been 16 month since my hair transplant. I had a haircut last week which the photos are making it seem thinner than it actually is. I find that transplanted hair have a good density if kept at 1.5 or 2 inches in length. From April to December 2014 my hair was looking good. Then I had a dreadful shed during the winter period. Maybe it is a seasonal shed or maybe it’s the fin. I am not really bothered as I know the hair will come back stronger and thicker. I still haven’t reached the 18th month mark yet and maybe the shed indicates the hair will return thicker. The images are shown under fluorescent light showing how I style my hair and exposing the hair line. The final image shows where I have marked where I hope density can be added in my second round. Am I happy? Damn, you can say I am! My pre op images are proof of the pudding. But am I satisfied? No I am not. No fault to Asmed and Dr Erdogan. I was told I needed more than 2400 grafts but they have done a remarkable job of giving me hair where I was bald before, despite limited styling options and a bit high hair line it is a success. The points which bother me: The hair line is far too high. I would prefer a lower hair to accommodate my strong temple points. I also have this natural fringe which you can see from the pics. This ass**** of hairs always lay down and the f***** are thick! I would like the hair line just to be slightly implanted below this section of hair which hopefully will give me the ability to spike or side part my hair. I was seriously thinking about adding regaine (minxo) to my hair regime but gave up with the idea. Minxo can affect the other hairs around the area where minxo is applied as it gets in the blood stream. If minxo is stopped; bye bye hair. It is a risk I cannot take. I have been in touch with Asmed and Dr E. And we have agreed on another 3K to be done in November. Knowing Asmed and their graft counts, I will budget for 3.5K grafts. I wish to have one final transplant and be done and dusted with it. I still don’t how much donor I have left but hopefully I wouldn’t need another pass after my next. If I do, maybe in 15-20 years’ time.
  7. Yes have been taking 1/4 of proscar everyday since my transplant. I am plannig to switch to propecia. I feel cutting the pill into four pieces reduces the efficiency of the drug. I rather be safe and take a steady dose of 1mg per day as opposed to cutting the pill into pieces and not knowing the amount of fin entering the body
  8. Thank you! I have had a tough time in my teenager and early adult years with battling depression and my hearing loss. Really means a lot. I did not ask how more I needed but was told the result will still be good with 2400 Thats my own estimate lol. Asmed emailed me a few days ago saying Dr E has said 3000 grafts would be enough for the result I am looking for. I wish to drop my hair line down a bit and fill in the weak right side area. Maybe touch up right temple too. Yes PRP really helped in healing. The redness has gone by the second month and donor was back to normal in 3-4 weeks. My skin is light brown/tan and it helped
  9. Nope, no pain or discomfort at all in the first week. Just general black eyes really. Donor area healed well in 3 weeks and the redness was all gone by the second month. The PRP helped in healing. The numbness lasted for at least 10 months I think? Cannot really remember now as it has been a while
  10. Thanks guys. Its quite late at this time but I will post some recent pics exposing my thin areas and where the extra grafts will be going
  11. Have been in touch with Asmed and I have decided to go for the maximum number of grafts they can obtain in 2 days. Which I believe is 5000. If my donor allows 5K to be extracted then I am going for it! The plan is rework the hair line, temples, crown, midscalp. Literally the whole head!
  12. Wow! Your looking good! Why do you need another one for? Most people will kill for your hair! Its not even a year yet. I say wait till the 18th month and I am sure you will change your mind. (Being a bit cheeky, I just cannot wait for my second pass with Dr E)
  13. That looks good! You have a solid hair line with crown loss. Mid scalp looks thin though. I see Dr Hakan has placed grafts in all bald and thinning areas. I am sure your result will be great! Do you have the graft count? In terms of grouping?
  14. Crown looks virtually empty but what I can make out from the pre op pics donor looks average. Better pre op pics would be helpful
  15. I agree with KO. I believe you have diffused thinning. Meds require a life term commitment. Stay on both meds for a year to assess whether hair loss is stable. Diffused thinning is difficult to treat due to native hairs can be lost to shock loss. Meds will help counter this
  16. Its all normal. You will always have seasonal shedding on fin. My ht was in oct 2013, and i have been on fin since then. I alway experience seasonal shedding every few months. My last one was this December. The hairs always come back stronger. Nothing to worry about as most studies show you hit baseline after the second year on fin
  17. Congrats! Looks good. Work looks very good! Regarding fin, you have been on 15 years? Doesn't look you have maintained hairs by fin usage. Maybe its because your hair is really short in the pre-ops. Do you have any pics showing your hair grown out? Just curious to see how fin has helped you the past 15 years
  18. Bill I am having problems using this site via my home wifi. The past 2 days I have not been able to access the forum. But I can using my data package. Today I managed to log in using my home wifi but now am experiencing the same problem. I understand a new system has been brought in and all members are required to login to allow the change to occur which I have done so. Can you please resolve this issue. Thanks
  19. Thanks SL. I logged in to my wifi router but couldn't figure it out. Just now finally have managed to login to the site using my wifi. Not sure what was the problem, but Bill I aint a shill! I had my hair transplant with Dr Erdogan in 2013
  20. Bill I seem to have a problem viewing the site. I can access and view this forum using my data plan but cannot using my wifi? I also have tried using my laptop to access the forum via wifi and it doesn't work. I can access using my data plan but I don't have much data left on my phone bill! Has my ip address been blocked or something?
