  1. Oh yea and how did you like the shaved head look ? I keep wondering about just shaving my head and seeing what reaction I get
  2. Almost identical crown loss to me , I often take pictures like your latest of your crown from top down in harsh bathroom lighting! I often wonder if this is how other people see it in real life ?!?? Out of interest did dr K say the 1200 grafts in the vertex would allow you to stop using any toppik , I too wear toppik but only when I go out . I'm not sure concealer she would play a part in progressing hairloss but possibly the generic fin . Are yuh staying in the clinic or hotel ?
  3. Looking forward to watching this result develop ! Looks like a very similar loss pattern and hair type to me ... I too think my vertex has opened slightly even whilst on finasteride did dr koray mention the use of dutasteride? He suggested it to me in a consultation I had with him . Out of interest how much input did you have in your hairline design ? What was spoken about with regards to your future loss ? How many grafts do you have left ? When you have the chsbce please let us know as much details as you can and hope all goes well
  4. Hey Ersko , thanks for the update ! What does your hair look like when wet ? Or with product In ? Does this highlight the change/drop in density from the hairline to the native non transplanted hair ? Have you been in touch with the clinic ?
  5. Wowza !! This is a fantastic example of maximising the donor area , hope you can get this patient to London in January for a video comb through ! Would be good if you could share a picture of his shaved down donor area prior to his 2nd procedure ? The extractions look so clean in comparison to some of the clinics using micro motors etc ... does dr lupanzula believe the white dot scarring is lessened by using manual punches ?
  6. Are you totally sold on the idea of going to turkey ?? I personally think you are rushing and if you can find an appointment at a months notice it's probably because the surgeon/clinic is not very popular . I would avoid Resul Yaman completely even though he is recommended on here . If price is really not an issue check out dr Lorenzo Madrid , or of your wanting a totally doctor lead surgery have a look at dr lupanzula (medikemos) he performs all the extractions and incisions and only works on 1/2 patients per day ... he has loads of results on YouTube and has recently started posting on here. His hairline work is up there with the very best around ! Please please do not rush into surgery just because you have a window , will you not have this same window next year ? The only way you would get an appointment at any reputable clinic at such short notice is through a cancellation etc ...
  7. Hmm I still feel you might be better waiting the full 12 months to see if you are happy with your first surgery:)
  8. And how many grafts are planned for the crown ? How many grafts are left in your donor ? What was the reason you only had 3300 and not the initial quote of 4000 ? I think you should wait until your first surgery has fully developed i.e: 12 months minimum to see if you are happy before you go again ?
  9. Yea it is a nice result , but if you compare your pictures to his you can see that the grafts have been packed much closer together to give the density especially in the front 3rd . I hope you get a nice result but I feel that you won't have great density as your grafts are quite widely spaced . Please do not worry too much as I presume this is something the doctor explained . Happy growing !
  10. Hi possibly 100cm2 depending on the size of your head , this is a similar procedure but with more grafts . Did dr Bhatti mention what kind of density he likes to achieve especially in the hairline ? http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/184272-dr-koray-erdogan-asmed-clinic-5007-grafts-manual-fue.html#post2478366
  11. Look forward to watching this result develop , do you know what the total area in cm2 covered by your 3300 grafts please ?
  12. This looks a great result congratulations, out of interest how many grafts did dr d say you had left ? Are you planning on returning for your crown filling in ?
  13. Sorry to hear this , were you taking finasteride and still loosing hair ?
  14. It's threads like this that' really concern me about moving forward with a procedure ! Really hoping things work out for you and thank you for posting your experience so far ... you'd think by using dr bisanga it would eliminate what looks like very poor work indeed
  15. Hi please may I ask , we're you on finasteride and have still lost hair around your transplanted hair ?
  16. This is a thread definitely worth following ! Happy growing KO , I think you made an excellent choice in surgeon !
  17. Are "j" hairs or curls exclusive to patients only with a natural curl to their hair ? Or is it something caused by transplanting the hair itself ? And can happen to patients that have straight hair? I'm thinking main difference between the "KEEP" and an implanter pen is that Dr koray believes he can get a more natural frontline with the incision method (blades) he has been using for years ?? Either that or it's a FANTASTIC marketing scheme that already seems to be getting plenty of attention
  18. That makes more sense , thanks for pointing that out Yaz
  19. Once again beautiful hairline work ! So natural . Would love to see some vertex work from dr lupanzula if you have any you could share with the network
  20. Hmmm so all previous patients were only getting 65% regrowth ?? If you have improved your regrowth rate might you now start using less grafts in your procedures ? Also are there any limitations with regards to hair caliber ? Can the KEEP be used with say 35 or 40 microns hairs ? Either way this looks a good innovation and if it has improved regrowth rate then that's a good thing
  21. This is the result I'm really excited about and it's really starting to come together , you have very similar loss to me and I think similar hair characteristic. Out of interest what was the thickness of your hair caliber in microns ? You mentioned that you spoke with dr erdogan about how your hair may look in the future what were his thoughts ? Also in your vertex what kid of coverage are you expecting? Was another procedure spoken about to add more density to this area in the future ? Or is this not a concern for you ? Did you suffer any shock loss in either recipient or donor ? Did you have any facial swelling ? I'm not sure how I will explain this to my kids if I get bad swelling like some guys seem to get Thanks in advance
  22. Hi doc , thanks again for your informed reply ! What kind of figure do you call fine hair ? I ask as I have been measured at 40 microns on the sides and 50 in the occipital. Do you think I would be classed as fine Or medium caliber ? Out of interest I sent a reply regards dr couto but for some reason it has been sent for moderators approval ??
