  1. Hang in there mate ! I'm super excited about seeing this result develop.... sending positive vibes !!!
  2. Again beautiful work ! This young man must be thrilled !! Can you please tell me how many grafts were placed in the vertex ? Thanks
  3. Hi , other than the redness issue are you happy with how things have progressed so far ? I'd love to see a top down picture of your vertex similar to the one in your pre op pictures . I believe you had 900 grafts placed there do you feel this was enough to give good coverage back there ?
  4. Was your weight loss thyroid related ? Did you have to take some sort of steroids ? Either way I'd go see a specialist i.e. Dermatologists or transplant surgeon before making any decisions
  5. it sounds as though mpb could quite well be within your family history so I'd definitely go get checked out , with some better photos and even some wet hair pics I think it would be quite easy to see if there is a diffuse pattern developing and if there is medication could work wonders for you . My hair also looks much fuller when longer as does most peoples especially those with general thinning . Get some better pictures ideally with wet hair and see what people thoughts are , if you do eventually want to get some medication I can put you in touch with dr edgar who will prescribe your meds here in the uk drstevengedgar@gmail.com
  6. Must admit the photos aren't great , your still very young for a transplant . Do you have balding in your family ? I'd go get checked out for signs of miniaturisation and if you are thinning in what looks like it could be a diffuse pattern then prevention may be better than a cure i.e.: meds If you do want to go see a specialist don't go to Vinci or belgravia etc go see a surgeon , dr reddy or dr ball are here in the uk
  7. I too can vouch for dr edgar and the quality of the finasteride he prescribes, please don't use the online pharmacies and just go direct to him he is very competitive with his pricing if you ask nicely and spread the word
  8. Hi all , I've actually found a slightly cheaper source of legitimate finasteride here in the uk if anybody wants contact details please pm me . Thanks to these understanding G.P's we can go on keeping our hair in place !! My own personal G.P looked at me like I was from outer space when I mentioned taking finasteride for mpb .... and the he swept his flowing locks out of his eyes
  9. Did you have the vertex worked on ? Would love to see some top down photos please ? Wat is the price structure of this clinic ? Was it a motorised extraction or manual ? You appear to have had a great outcome but would love to see more pics congratulations
  10. Has anybody uses dr sarwar recently ? If so is this email address still current ? And are his prices still the same ? Cheers
  11. Will definitely look forward to watching this result develop ! Out of interest are you currently taking finasteride?
  12. To give a comparison below is the extraction of 1859 grafts performed by a pretty much new comer to the world of fue (H&W) pretty obvious difference?
  13. Hi , I'd love to know your "professional" take on if sleeping on the donor area caused the badly thinned out areas on the back of this poor guys head ? Or would they not have been so noticeable if he had gone with the doctors suggested 1200 grafts instead of the 1500 he had ? Would 300 grafts really make that much difference? I'm not overly concerned about the recipient area as I'm sure that could be addressed by another surgery . But the donor just looks terrible and surely the doctor must take responsibility for that ? I'm also not rising to the personal insults toward myself as this isn't about me or you it is about trying to help the op .
  14. I'm pretty sure the idea is to spread the extractions over the entire donor so the donor area is thinned out in a uniform fashion therefore undetected my the naked eye . What I see here is 2 strips of thinning with a thicker band of hair in between where there were no extractions as this part was left to comb over the lower extraction strip In any case the op density being low or high caliber being thick or thin this dr has a duty to perform analysis on the donor area before performing extractions on any patient . For me this is just very poor work on both donor and recipient I'll post a picture below of the donor extractions to explain what I mean but please if I'm incorrect one of the more experienced guys or mods chime in and explain
  15. Yea that would be where I would start , definitely do not proceed with more surgery until you have been fully made aware of what went wrong after all a "free" touch up is not exactly free when it comes to depleting your donor in such a manner ! If you dare have your hair clippered at say grade 2 I'm sure this would highlight the extremely poor extraction pattern even more and allow for other surgeons to give you a better idea of what might be able to be done to repair your donor , again in unsure if it is something that can even be achieved ? I'm not sure where you are based but I'd send some pictures to dr Lorenzo (Madrid) and dr lupanzula (Brussels) both I believe are excellent repair surgeons and may be able to shed some light on what has happened just from a virtual consultation a live consultation would of course be much better but definitely do not be lured back in by the "free" touch up !! Please keep us all informed of how things progress
  16. I personally feel that in dr Bhatti quest to perform his "hidden" fue technique he has over harvested your donor region in a strip like fashion which has now obviously depleted your donor in a bad way where as a lot of the top fue surgeons spread there extraction pattern throughout the donor area (see asmeds video on homogenisation of the donor) dr Bhatti has concentrated your extractions into 2 strip like patterns thus you now have large areas thinned out The idea of fue is that you can shave your donor area to at worst a grade 2 or 3 , some guys can actually get away with a grade 1 and not see any scarring ! I'm guessing that your hair is approx grade 4/5 and you still see the thinning . I know it's too late now but a strip method would have been a better outcome for you and that's coming from myself who would only ever consider fue . My only advice is not to go back to any doctor who can produce this kind of work full refund should be issued and compensation to help towards trying to get repaired , although I'm unsure if the donor can ever be fully repaired ? Have you sent pictures to any other surgeons for opinions ?
  17. Hi California, And what are your thoughts on what looks to be a totally destroyed donor region ? How on earth is this poor guy ever going to be extremely happy and satisfied with his results when he now appears to have some form of alopecia on the back of his head from what can only be poor extraction methods ?
  18. Unfortunately another pretty average result from dr Bhatti he just doesn't seem to be able to pack the grafts close enough together.
  19. Could you ask the guy if he is wearing any concealer in his hairline in the picture ?? My guess from the pictures you have posted is that his vertex has thinned and he now uses concealers ??
