  1. Dr.Charles: Thank you ! Will do as advised.
  2. Guys, Has any one encountered 'constipation' with the use of Finasteride ? Please advise.
  3. Cardel, May I take the liberty to ask you " how much was the charge per graft" ?
  4. I agree with Atticus, please make sure that the surgeon you choose does only one HT at a time. I ended up with the similar issue. My doctor did around 3 to 4 HT on the particular day. Eventually, the doctors focus was more on making money than on the HT. One more suggestion, the patient educators/doctors offers discounts indicating that ' you would be eligible for discount on the fees' if you choose this particular date. Stay away from these tactics. Good Luck.
  5. How about the pricing and availability ? Any clue ?
  6. Sean, You are just wonderful. I totally forgot about the 'Fin' that I take and the warning message it quotes on the medication bottle. Thanks a tonne. "Not helping is better than unknowingly doing harm" Cheers !!
  7. I am 7 month post op. Wishing to donate blood. I am I advised to do so ?
  8. How long ago ws the HT done ? How many grafts did you obtain ??
  9. Agrover: Sorry to hear about your experience. I wish you did more research before going to these jerks. Glad you posted your experience which might serve as an red alert for others
  10. Bakri: Congratulations ! looks amazing work. Dr.Radha is just wonderful. She responds to patient queries very promptly. Happy growing !!
  11. Is it a myth or a fact that it takes one solid year, to see the complete growth of the hair thats been transplanted ? Having had a HT almost 5 months ago, I only see a partial growth. I am not completely convinced by my patient educator that more is yet to grow. Any advise please ?
  12. Wow Alex !! What a tremendous change. Looks you gained very good density. I guess you should see more density in the coming 3 months because, it is said that 12 months is the full term where you get to see the complete results.
  13. Folks, I have been getting grey hair in the HT area (5 months post op), is it kind of common, or does that imply that the grafts planted were not carefully screened? Any advise please.
  14. Byron: I am not in medical profession. It is my feeling that its always better to start with low dose. If I can make a recommendation, it would be to use 1 mg than directly going with 5 mg. I personally use fin. Good Luck !
  15. Mr.Cool, How did the HT turn out ? Would you recommend Dr.McGrath ?
  16. Individuals experience different time frame for recovery and masking of the sutures depending on the hair line/loss. I had around 3000 grafts. The first ten days was worse with swelling of face and the redness of the donor area. It took almost 6 weeks for me to get out to mingle with friends (to avoid the crazy questions).
  17. It is two month post op and I have the same problem of no sensation !
  18. Hey NDC: As goes the famous quote "Prevention is better than Cure". Initially try Rogane and or Propecia to see if they can produce some results to you. It could take almost 6 months to get to know if it is working. If later on you decide that a transplant is necessary, you can go with it. Good Luck !
