  1. Folk: Did anyone undergo the HT with Neograft ? Been reading a lot about it recently, just wanted to see if any one has had experience. By the way, any idea how much a procedure with this might cost ? Thanks for your time. Cheers !
  2. Dude, I travelled the same boat of hair being shed off. Shedding is quite normal. Now anticipate for growth. Good luck !
  3. Gillenator, Thank you! your candid suggestion makes my day. Believe me, it was a trivial issue, but has been bothering my thoughts by not being able to make a decision. I will simply take your word now. As you have given a confident suggestion, may I take the liberty to ask you another advise ? Based on your experience, would you think I can ask for a refund from the doctor ? Has any doctor ever did that for his patients that you read of ? Thanks again for your time Gillenator.
  4. This is what the office gave me in writing: We guarantee that your hair restoration procedure will look natural and that the new grafts will grow. You will notice a difference in density and will have continued growth for up to 12 to 16 months. If after 16 months your post procedure date we determine grafts did not grow we will replace those grafts free of charge
  5. Dude, I wish he refunds atleast a part of what I spent, but I don't know whats the possibility. This was a good lesson for me.
  6. Matt, It is a poor design and poor density. You know how it feels, waiting for an year for the hair growth and the doctor recommending an second HT. Luring, with a free third ht if the second one does not yield the desired result.
  7. Hairthere, Thanks ! I got the core of the advise. Makes me feel better.
  8. Ko, Here is my thought- Different Doctor: I am biased of the outcome, since the probability may be 50% 50%. again. Vr's The same doctor: being ashamed of his previous performance, could be more responsible ? So please advise which side should I swing.
  9. Dear All: I underwent an HT with a doctor not listed in here nearly 15 months ago. The results were not very promising. I kind of feel sad for the poor performance of the doctor. I have visited the doctor and he says, " get a second HT, and then if you do not get the hair you are desiring, I will get you the third surgery for free". Should I believe this doctor and get an second HT with him ? Or, is it better to stay off from this doctor who made good money on the first HT and look for an another doctor ? Please advise I am very confused and not able to make a decision in this tricky situation. Thank you.
  10. Folk, Being unhappy with the first HT, I am wishing to go for a second strip HT for the density, does it mean, that the donor area scar would get more wider ? Please throw some light. Thanks
  11. Hey All, Having had the HT over an year with ~ 2800 graft, when I apply hair oil, I sparsely feel the hair density, and can clearly see the bald spots. But, after the shower, with dry hair, the transplanted hair kind of camouflage my baldness. Is it incorrect to judge the HT with greasy hair ? Please advise.
  12. Rattitude, Mind blowing but its hard to believe its a fact. As others said, if this technique is so popular, then most of the hair transplant surgeons would be in que to acquire the technique from Dr.Nigam..........lol
  13. Dear 'Cant Decide' & 'Coligion' Thank you for sharing your input. Based on both of your experiences, should I conclude that either of the two factors can be the reason for it ? 1. Variation from person to person 2. The surgeons expertise in drawing the strip. Any further insight ?
  14. Folk, I underwent a HT an year ago by strip method. When I lean my head in the driver seat (in the head rest), I feel the discomfort. Rest of the time, I am absolutely normal. Any one in the similar boat ? Will that eventually subside ?
  15. How many grafts did you get dude ? The hair density you are having is remarkable, congratulations.
  16. This is the first of the kind that I am seeing an impressive work with body hair. You are amazing Dr.Umar.
  17. Sequel, I am not in medical profession, my advise is only on a personal perspective. I had a hairline similar to you except that I had good donor area. I got around 2800 grafts and that had covered the frontal baldness. So in your situation, even if the donor area can cover the frontal zone, it would mask the baldness. If I were you, I would prefer two sessions rather than a single mega session so that I would get an opportunity to see how the first surgery went on and what donor area is left to go for second one. I did not see Dr.Radha in person but based on the email interaction and the fellow mates write up, I feel she is a good doctor. Good Luck.
