  1. Yeah I shouldn't of got a toot on fella. Was just trying to say to Dr b that I think that's the point the blogger was trying to make ,wasn't part of the argument . All good
  2. What you on about???? I never made the point Dr b was among is that what the other blogger was on about. Think you got wrong end of the stick. Re read the post it ain't to do with me so get back in your box!!!
  3. All the surgeons you mentioned are great, not a bad one amongst them. I gues we all have our favourites. For me personally, it's hard to knock Dr feller as I got a great surgery from him.
  4. Answer me honestly though of all the results you have seen is dr fellers work better than dr Lorenzo dr erdogan or dr Feridunis irrespective of what type of surgery was used?? Ignore that fact that dr fellers is strip and ignore that the others are fue!! And dr feller since you do so much fue still, can you post some grown out patients with the type of results the other drs mentioned produce because in here and the internet you can see hundreds of their fue results and is like to see some of yours as I can't remember the last ones you have shown if regularly ever?? I don't see dr Lorenzo or erdogan on here slamming strip surgery and I know de Feriduni does both but they don't have to as their results speak for themselves maybe it's time to let yours do the same??[/quote I have had surgery with DR feller and Dr Lorenzo and I choose Dr Feller every time. But each to there own. At the end of the day it's personal choice, we all know that.
  5. I don't think electing to go strip makes us fools. I have had both types of surgeries and both have its strengths and weaknesses.
  6. Hi all, just a thought and maybe just putting it a different way, but could if be that because we're talking to a forum,we end up generalising ,rather than treating each case as unique, in its own right ? Surely for some patients after a consultation, the gold standard is to do nothing at all. For another case the gold standard is to look at meds and possibly wait a few years. Then we have strip and fue which both have their strengths and weaknesses. But as long as we refer to one specific method or situation as the gold standard then there's the potential for patients to end up wanting something there not best suited to, with a lot of heartache down the road. For me when I had my first HT in the UK, the gold standard then should of been to get on meds and wait and see what the next few years bring. My second HT was a strip surgery and I believe that was the gold standard for me in that situation. My third HT was an FUE case and I believe that was the gold standard for me at that time. Maybe it's time to start helping patients by advising on there needs and desires rather than always arguing over the best method. Just my 2 pence worth
  7. Ha ha voxman, It's hard being that good looking but hey if anyone can carry that burden, your the man
  8. I'd have some of that, however I've got a face more for the radio
  9. depends if people are answering honestly with the head or there heart. What we want and what we should go for ain't always the same. We all fit into different categories and people should go for the best technique that best suits them
  10. Doc, Was going to drop you a few pics in an email if that's ok? Wanted to get your opinion of bringing my 2 scars together and a bit of a touch up in the process. Thanks
  11. 2) Dr Lorenzo and Feller have actually known each other for quite some time. Dr Lorenzo has always been very complimentary of this work. One of the members in this thread actually underwent surgery with both and can confirm this. hi Dr B, Yes that was me. I can confirm that to be true. I had a great procedure withe Dr feller and , Dr Lorenzo said looking at my before pics and what sat in front of him for my FUE consultation ,he could tell I had as close to a 100% yield. He was very complimentary of Dr fellers work. Actually the first time I heard of Dr Lorenzo was when in Dr fellers office having surgery in 2011, Dr feller had mentioned him in conversation, I think it's safe to say they both respect and hold each other in high regard. I have always said that FUSS was best surgery for myself, due to hairless pattern and what I may need down the road. However having coarse hair, I believe FUE was best option for temple points. I think they both bring great things to the table, I've never seen it as good vs evil. Congrats for qualifying, hope to see you as a coalition doc on here sometime soon.
  12. Sean, whatever you decide to do next I'm rooting for you. You went to Dr Rahal at the same time I went to Dr feller. We kinda started our journeys at the same time and I truly hope you finally get the results you yearn for.
  13. I honestly believe it's hard to look past Dr Lorenzo for yield results. I'm sure from hairline and temple point design, people can argue there are better to choose from, but after all you have through, if it were me, I'd go to the main man.
  14. I wish Docs and clinics would just post good work instead of coming off like informercial salesman. Sorry if that offends anyone, but that is my opinion and that is how I feel. Luckily the majority like Dr Hasson, Lorenzo, Wong, Konior are focused on doing great work. Totally agree. Bottom line, irrespective about method, just comes down to great work. Hey mickey, The temple points I had with Dr Lorenzo turned out great. I'm glad I made the best of the time he spent in UK
  15. I wasn't agreeing with Dr Lindsey no. I may come across as sitting on fence sometimes, but more to do with having good outcomes with both procedures. I wouldn't agree with his comments, no. The top FUE surgeons are proven time and time again they can match strip results .
  16. Whilst there's a lot of great strip surgeons out there, you can probably count on 2 hands, if that many, the great FUE surgeons that can continually match FUSS/STRIP. I was fortunate to get a great strip surgery of Dr feller and likewise great FUE surgery from Lorenzo. However I wouldn't go to Lorenzo for strip and Dr feller for large FUE. But that doesn't mean there both not great in there own rights. The great FUE surgeons show themselves in the mega sessions and there's just not that many of them around so people who say the percentages are low arnt wrong, however if we bring up Dr Lorenzo stats just to name one, I thing he would put most docs views on survival rate to shame.
  17. As people have said I would agree the top FUE is better than the best FUT I see from feller / Lindsay/ Charles etc.. No brainer. I'd have to disagree. I had fut with Dr feller, and fue with Dr Lorenzo and don't regret either procedure and both turned out great. Dr Lorenzo was very complementary about Dr fellers work and said I got a great result. However each to there own opinion.
  18. Hi hairweave, Yes both methods with Dr feller and Dr Lorenzo. It's hard to compare as the fue procedure was more to do with having very coarse hair, and trying to cherry pick my finer hairs for that procedure. Both turned on very well and I'm very pleased with the results. Me personally I've always been a fan of strip, even with the risks, for me it's still my favoured method .
  19. Well said fella. Things have definitely improved which is great for us patients.
  20. Got to agree, I wouldn't go near permanent ink. To be honest the scar doesn't look bad at all even with your hair short. Personally I wouldn't do anything, as I honestly think the only people who would really pick up on it at that grade, would be the likes of ur friends on the forum, and we ain't gonna say anything.
  21. Sweet hairline. Well done doc, patient must be well pleased with his results.
