  1. general consesus is stay from the uk for ht .apart from farjo. dont take the risk .
  2. jonty. why consider surgeon you dont know and are looking for negative reviews on?
  3. james 84; congrats on booking your procedure with dr hakan ,his results look stellar. would you mind giving me his contact details ?
  4. i think i have narrowed my search down to fue in turkey . this is my second procedure and am going for around 1000 grafts i have tried to contact various clinics but struggled to get in contact with some. could any of you guys with experience in turkey comment on your surgeon and also price per graft . i realise price is often a taboo subject, but i personally dont see why. i think it would be great to have a list to refer to, of great surgeons and their prices, especially in the economic doldrums we are all experiencing worldwide
  5. totally. i would be very pleased with that result im sure its changed your life ;-)
  6. hi osris; i should also comment your hair is looking good ;-)
  7. gnx1 ; i agree totally with you re farjos patients who all seem to sport comb overs . iv noticed this for quite some time!!
  8. lorenzo ;is this doc in florida you mention recommended on this site?
  9. looking at results posted lately by some docs with similar sort of graft numbers this is a pathetic result i disagree with taking the plunge
  10. mickey out of curiousity who did your surgery?
  11. alex- well done great result it ould seem i notice when people take issue with distance of photos etc you are very quick to try and rectify the issues people have . well done on that too ;-)
  12. dr frank the little grafts that were used make a BIG difference ,,,well done on a great fue result! interesting i am hoping to go for procedure of similar graft count. do you insist on shaving donor and recipient area.i ask as i was hoping to partially shave the donor area due to so little so grafts being used and camouflage bald area with exisitng hair?
  13. i dont think this is made clear enough to most patients before hand. i really like the way my hair looks at grade two which is the really frustrating thing!! ;-( perhaps inserting some grafts into region will help but if opted for fue this wouldnt be an issue. another thing that really annoys me is some doctors and the like are so quick to point out that fue is not scarless . to me this is nonsense , okay it might not technically be scarless as all surgerys leave a scar but for all intensive purposes fue is undetectable to the human eye at grade one which is what i think we are all after!!!

  15. in retrospect i wish i had opted for fue. i received 1500 grafts via fut . i am very pleased with my results one year on however i buzzed my hair down to a number two at sides and back and was a bit horrified to see that my scar was visible . i had hoped it wouldnt be visible at number two but has obviously stretched along the way. im planning to go back for a second procedure soon for around 800 grafts and shall be opting for fue to beef up hairline and perhaps put some grafts into scar. as mickey states for people hovering around a norwood 1-3 i would recommend fue . fut is great and has its place and gives the patient more scope as more doctors are proficient with the fut technique than opposedto fue. for me though looking back i wish i had opted for fue .

  17. fakehair; propecia does not have these reactions with the majority of users and why should someone go bald if they dont have to!
  18. about to add nizoral to my regime, read that it can actually make hairloss worse? what do you guys think?
  19. i had my 1500 strip procedure and returned home the next day(.2 hour flight) i think with good aftercare info there is no need to hang around other than in a perfect world. i really dont think being near clinic is going to benefit the result any better. in terms of travelling i found it relatively comfortable ,apart from taking hat off going through airport security.
  20. get her to pay for you transplant ;-) no go for it she had the balls to pull up her own behaviour - give her a chance and then get her to pay for your new hair ;-)
  21. think i have found legit supplier ,lots of good independant reviews do you think would need pct?
