Hey man , I dont think your hair loss is bad at all.. and your surgery looks clean and refined... Im sure you will have a good result in a years time . Medical therapy would be very useful for your case . . I would suggest finasteride and rogaine for maintaining your locks . Im 25 years old and have been on finasteride for 6 months , no sides and I feel great. same as ever... but I only take finny Monday Wednesday and Friday, im my opinion there is no point on taking it everyday, the half life of the drug is long enough that taking it every other day is suffient . If you wanted to try finasteride I would say start by taking .5mg every other day for a few weeks and see if you get mild sides... if you don't then i;m sure it will be safe to take 1mg every other day... well thats what I did because i was terrified of the drug as well . anyways man , congrats on your recent transplant , I think it will turn out great...hope this helps a bit.

Looking good ! the patient must be pretty happy thus far. Great job Dr. -
I'm not sure if anyones post on this thread is legit anymore...but if you are looking for a great doctor in Virginia , look up Dr Lindsey. he has results you can actually see for yourself . Do not mess around when it comes to hair transplants...thats my only advice.

Congrats! Dr Lindsey is in the house!

I agree, it is hard to tell you had a procedure...a good thing , right? Do you have graft placement photos / pre op / or during photos? That would help us gauge how well you transplant went... and as for the black dots, hard to tell what you are talking about by looking at the pictures. Other than that , your hair looks pretty good man!

My Ht with Dr Lindsey -revision 1758 grafts

I think I'm going to add the scar cut out and on the table , its soo nasty looking but people will get a clear picture of what it looked like... I like sharing my experience with the others on these forums , its kind of therapeutic! Its looking much cleaner at the recpient site , some of the grafts shed with the crust, but lots are still hanging on . Man, i cant believe that this is what a transplant is supposed to look like . I am putting vit E on the donor site 2 times per day , love getting it in my hair ! NOT ! Thanks again Dr Lindsey! I will keep in touch and let you know when I update One picture of the previous scar, and the other at day 12 -
Hi guys, I just wanted to share my hair transplant experience . It started when I freaked out when someone mentioned I was losing my hair line, after that I made one of the worst decisions of my life...I rushed into a hair transplant...Lets just say it didn't turn out the way they told me, I got plugged out and a really nasty scar on my head...I was 23 years old. Well I just turned 25 and things are looking up... I researched and talked to different doctors , as well as spex. Spex gave me some quality information, then I made an informed decision.. In the end I decided on Dr William Lindsey, in Mclean Virginia. Him and his team were wonderful, it was night and day in comparision to my last surgery. There was a scar revision with double layer trichophytic closure , I recieved 1758 grafts in total . 1002 singles and 756 doubles/triples. I went in for a check up before I left for home... All in all everything went great, and left me feeling very confident in their work. Also in light of my finacial situation Dr Lindsey was able to help me out, which was much appreciated... Please let me know what you think of the work done , I think it looks clean and should turn out great I will update this thread once a month and keep track ! Thanks, this is also posted on a different thread Currently taking proscar M-W-F 1.25mg 6 months and counting
