If you really want to keep what you have , I suggest picking up a big bottle of nizoral shampoo , take 1.25mg of finasteride Monday - Wednesday - Friday, and buy a generic version of minox 5% and use this Morning and night . To be honest apply minox twice a day is simple, i use it before i brush my teeth ... takes about a minute each time . They call this "the big 3" . Its the most proven way to battle MPB . Keep checking updates on the forums and learn about the future of hair loss ect. . Take it easy!

Great Result Dr Radha , I think that most people agree with me when I say they would rather have their frontal 3rd filled with their precious donor hair then their crown worked on . Anyone who gets a transplant must understand the risk vs reward factor .

Hey everyone , I felt like taking some comparision photos and posting them ! I will post my 1 month and my current hair at 4 and 1/2 months . I am still seeing grafts sprouting , things all around seem to be getting much better So i met a nice girl last week and I figured I wouldnt say anything about my hair until she did .... she hasn't yet....thats friggin awesome to say the least. About 6 months ago I was really depressed about my life , mostly due to the hack job I had done.....now I have seen the light . its dim but growing stronger!!! Just wanted to share some positive vibes . im feeling great about Dr Lindsey work . thanks for the support everyone!

Hey man , For now get on Finasteride 1 mg Monday - wednesday - friday use nizoral shampoo 1 time weekly and use minox(rogaine) 2 times a day. Its your best bet in combating MPB.. im 25 now been aware of my balding since i was 23...the meds have helped me keep what I have so far. Nothing works in weeks , give the big three at least a year and see where you are at. Good luck man , don't fret to much about it ...

Hi bluebird, it seems to me your last transplant was a dud... but you never know.. .you could be a really really really late grower..:confused: .I was wondering if you had any post op pictures of the graft placement? That would give any on here a better understanding , or even a clue of what went wrong... the post op instruction might have something to do with it ? since you had other transplants then you would already know what to expect ... it really gets me down when peoples hair transplant don't work out , as its happend to me as well . My mistake was the doctor . . . . who was your doctor ? I would really suggest going to a doctor reccommended on this site , get them to look at the work done on you and see what they say.

I believe the graft per cm2 was between 40-50 . I had about 35-40 cm2 area to work on, so with 1758 grafts .the average was around 45 grafts per cm2 to be exact.

Hi everyone , so its near 4 months since my repair with Dr Lindsey . Things seem to be going quite alright, I am seeing some new hairs come out .. obviously hope that a lot more come out .lol.. but Its only 4 months so I am feeling fine Looking at the photos ... to me its already looking much better. I do still wear a hat most places public ..... but im thinking another month of growth might remove the hat Take a look at the new photos , trying to keep the same over head lighting, with my hair wet and combed back. My scar seems to be fine , but for one spot where I recall dr lindsey saying he couldnt cut it out because it was too low from the previous surgery. Im not sure if I could ever get some fue grafts into the area...I will wait it out a year , it might get better. Last 2 photos are from the previous surgery.

Hi everyone , This is my 3 month update. I see a lot of grafts coming out already, very encouraging i'd say. Still a wee bit red and I still have some numbness on my head, seems to be fading faster now . When I look at the pictures I have posted so far , there seems to be a vast improvement everywhere....Im going to post a before photo of my plugs as well... as for the plugs...its a long story..maybe another time.:rolleyes: See you at month 4 Reminder - The first photo is a before of the plugs I also added minox to my daily routine x2 daily approx2 months after the revision with dr lindsey.
