    11 months! Hey guys and gals! Well nearly a whole year has passed since I had my transplant. Currently keeping the length on top and shaving the sides every 3 weeks or so. I'm going to be growing it longer and longer and who knows....maybe get myself an man bun haha! I'm VERY happy, I think if I was to do a 2nd pass at it I would want to adjust the hairline a little on the sides, but overall I am amazed just how different I feel in myself. Again for reference I've attached the 10 month comparison.

    Thanks @OliverTja. No, I haven't dyed my hair. It seems a lot of the hair on the donor side was darker than what was on top. I've always had dark hair growing up, but as the follicles started falling out they seemed to get lighter and lighter. At this point in life I wouldn't ever dye my hair with all those toxic chemicals and risk damaging the hair.

    @MrOneSeries how exciting! Congrats! Yeah the Ugly Duckling Stage isn't the most fun, but it's fun when you see the new hairs sprouting out and then all of a sudden you wake up and BOOM! You have hair! lol

    @MrOneSeries Thanks man! I hope yours turns out amazing too! Where did you go? How bad was your loss? @jj51702 I didn't suffer from dandruff but I did get some itchiness here and there. I would put fractioned coconut oil on my head every day and night and that seemed to help with any dryness and itchiness.

    Looking right on track! Donor area looks great! The shed is almost the worst part, personally I think when the hairs start growing (sporadically) although it's super exciting it also looks the worst haha! Few months and you'll feel back to normal. Careful with the sports team as you don't want any contact on the head for a while!

    Thank you @Shuriken and @Shifty I feel very fortune and blessed that my results have turned out the way they have so far and I still have more density to come over the next few months!

    Here's a side by side comparison from Dr. Cinik's Instagram page. Pre-op and 10 month post op. I'm still in awe at how much hairloss I suffered with in the frontal third, I almost forget how much I had lost!

    Hey @Donjamo Congratulations on your booking! You'll be in great hands, try and get some sleep the night before - I was unable to lol too excited/nervous! What does your hairloss look like at the moment? Glad I could be of assistance Yeah the first few months certainly are rough, your brain tricks you into thinking that everything looks ok...then when you look back after a few months you realize that it looks horrible for a while haha! But it's certainly worth it, especially the 10 month mark!     Thanks @garethbale, I',m loving that I'm able to grow it and style it now! Think I might be going for the Bradley Cooper Hangover Hairstyle next...just takes so long lol!

    What a knockout result! Congratulations!! You still have some room to grow a bit more, but to the untrained eye you would not notice anything!

    @pinky_head Don't stress too much, I had some large gaps in the my donor area after I had my haircut the first time, but they started to close up. You possibly may have shock loss in that area too. You seem fairly light skinned, as am I, and the redness should go away fully within the next month or two, but don't stress about it. Growth wise, you look like you're right on track. Do you have photos of the donor site immediately post op? Do you know the size of the punch that was used for extraction?

    Congrats on booking! I'm not sure how a dry scalp will affect the procedure, I'd say reach out to Dr. Cinik and see. Is it just dry flakes/dandruff or psoriasis? Coconut oil can't hurt but also make sure you're drinking a ton of water, especially alkaline, and restricting any sugars/caffeine to help your body hydrate.

    Did you book your transplant? I think no matter whose hands your in you'll come out amazing. At the end of the day it's the Docs name on the line if anything went wrong, that's probably why he employs the team he does, because he can trust them. Did they also tell you that Dr. Cinik guarantee the grafts for 10 years if they don't take? Dont forget that most clinics have techs working in them at some capacity. Even Asmed have techs doing extractions but the Doc will open the channels.

    Hey @Jay Ell, Yeah the US has very high pricing in comparison. One of the reasons I chose to go abroad was because of that, but I also felt the quality of results seemed to be higher too. The only thing I wish I changed, and it's not major, would be to close the hairline a little straighter, but that was my decision at the time. But it's not something that really bothers me that much, I'm just striving for perfection now haha.

    Hi Alex, I am the worst at remembering to take my vitamins! I have not taken anything for probably the last 2 months or so. Shampoo is Lush Sea salt and conditioner is Doterra Essential Oil.

    R5000, you hair is really coming along! Congrats! Wait till you get to month 10 it's going to be even more amazing!! Squidward, that's why I wanted to share my results and experience (good or bad) to give an unbiased view on the surgery and results. I had researched for months on Dr.Ciniks results and thought they were all great, so after talking with him and his staff I decided to go for it. The price was very affordable in comparison to other surgeons, which certainly made me wary at first. But I took a gamble, yes I read stories about butcher clinics and if I had not done enough research and due diligence I could have easily gone to the wrong clinic, but I am so happy that I chose wisely and took my time. What's the current stage of your hair loss, squid? Have you consulted with any docs?

    Hey guys! The density for those area has filled in a lot! Now i have been growing out my hair, so it's possible that it may just be well covered, we won't know fully until I cut it (which I'm planning on growing for a while now lol). The area that I might address in the future would be the hairline, I didn't want a straight hairline to start with but think if I was to go another pass I would go a little straighter at the temple points, but for now I'm ecstatic!

    Thank you all for the kind words. Yes I'm super excited about the result! @VicTNYC I have considered that I would like to adjust the temple/hairline a little more (especially on the left side) but I'm not sure if I will do it so soon or wait a few more years and see if any further hair loss continues past the frontal third. Overall it has made a huge difference to my confidence and the elements no longer bother me lol!

    Hey all! Sorry I missed the 10 month mark! Been busy with work and enjoying the hair haha! So it's got even thicker and the top part I was concerned with is filling in too! Here are the 10 month pics :) Dr. Cinik came out to the ISHRS conference last week in Los Angeles and reached out to meet with me to do an in person inspection. He was really happy with the results as am I. I tried to get a few pics for how I style my hair and lifting the hair up to show the actual hairline.
