If you go with Dr. Ron you will not be disappointed, as i am a former patient of his from a strip surgery going about 9 years now. I have always felt Dr. Ron and the whole staff at SMG treat me more as a person than a patient or a customer. The ethical high standard they have is unmatched in my opinion from their SMP to their HT's. I dont get paid by them in any way shape or form but just am forever grateful for their treatment of me and obviously the results i have received from them. Good luck on your search!

London, While i may agree with you that you cannot base your judgement on getting a HT solely on a website, I will say that calling paleos expectations unreaslistic is a stretch. Naive maybe be a better term as you followed up with, but remember we all were coming to this site to seek further guidance and direction. The troubling issue with this site is the question of its credibility, especially over the last few months to a year. I do agree with you that any major decision like a HT should take a lot of time and research, but everyone makes mistakes. Unfortunately for Paleo it was going to a Dr. that is (should be was) recommended on this site. Paleo, I said it before and I'll say it again, take care of yourself and try to get your life back together. I will be the first to say thank you for all that you have done to expose this clinic for part and current practices. This issue cannot be swept under the rug and a hopefully the moderators and the docs on this site got a slap in the face and woke up to a little reality. I will be one person that will leave this site if this issue is not addressed.

Actually i was one that had a great result and forgot about the forum cause I actually was out there and "enjoying life" again, hopefully the same for this patient.

Yeah we knew the industry is shady but thats why the forum was created.... The question can slowly be transitioned to.... "Is the forum shady?" Thats not good.... I would hate to think the almighty dollar has swayed this forum in the other direction. Hopefully the situation is addressed and this becomes a wake up call for everyone. Im not gonna lie it hurts to think the forum's credibility took a major hit... "hell hath no fury like a dissatisfied ht patient" HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH awesome

Paleo, First let me say that I wish you the best as i can see that this scenario has slowly consumed your life. I hope that you are able to first and foremost get you life in order and become happy again. Its saddens me to hear you state that "you cant go out looking like this" and such. Don't let this cancer/depression eat you from the inside out... With that being said I do not believe you are in the worst situation, as we all said, you have some months of hopeful growth ahead. I do believe that Dr. Dogonay loading up your hairline with 2500 grafts and then stating you only have 2000 grafts left for the rest of your hairloss is more than disturbing... All of you can say paleo should of been educated more or done more research and I think we all agree on that (even paleo has acknowledged this), but the doctors long term plan is more than suspect... The multiple accounts with the same ip address is shady and I hope this site addresses the situation. If the moderators/site doe not address this situations with this clinic, its very very hard to see this site being credible, if all the accusations are true about this doc/clinic. With all that being said I want to thank you paleo for you time and research, and like i sad man, get better... Go outside be happy you can walk talk and be healthy. There are people in much worse situations that are being fed through tubes or terminally ill... Be happy, take care

You have helped me a lot through my journey and I can't imagine on how many other countless people you have helped in the same manner. very nice for a very modest amount of graft i think you got a great yield! we all know the crown can "eat up a lot of grafts", but i think Dr. Maras did a great job!

I would have to throw Dr. Maras's name into the discussion when it comes to quality beard to scalp transplants, and hes pretty affordable. IMO he and a very few other clinics out there take the safe and ethical approach to young patients. I would definitely look him up hes in Cyprus. Make sure you don't let travel influence your decision, travel if you have to, all the best
