  1. exactly...no patient results...price is unbelievably low...less than half the price of a ht from HW or shapiro?....i would really look into this place..before having them touch my scalp...
  2. Interest....who is giving you a "good" ht, for less than 2 bucks a graft??..im sure everyone would like to know....
  3. I wore a loose fitting baseball cap for pretty much the first 2-3 months...not 24/7, but just out in public....it was loose enough not to rub on the donor scar....
  4. http://hair-restoration-info.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=5696015661&f=1466060861&m=385102993 there is a yahoo search mentioned in this link to another post...the site that comes up first using these instructions is a canadian online pharmacy...they have a phone number, and if i were ordering, i would make a call and ask who makes the proscar, and where it is manufactured before i ordered it...
  5. Dorian..almost any good online pharmacy will prescribe these for you...they have a staff physician who will write the prescription, usually with no extra fee...be careful which one you choose, as you dont want to get some cheap foreign Generic Proscar...if you can call or email them beforehand, ask them to verify that the proscar is "manufactured" in the USA or Canada..just because the internet pharmacy is US or Canadian based, doesnt necessarily mean they supply you drugs manufactured from there..lots of em just have this crap dropshipped from Asia, Mexico, India, and god knows where else...
  6. personally, i havent had any bad reaction from 3000 a day....but i would wonder if there might be some sort of risk in taking that high an amount of Glucosamine.....
  7. i would wait at least a year to 15 months for two reasons..one, so that every graft has a chance to pop and thicken up, so you know what your situation is before deciding on a second surgery...and 2nd, the surgeon doesnt want to operate in an area that could still be generating new grafts...
  8. oh hell...i dont know what level norwood i was...i never checked..but there are some pre-op pictures of my head on the site here.. im definitely going to give it at least 12-15 months before i would ever THINK of going in for a 2nd procedure...
  9. yeah..that WAS too easy, i admit...
  10. Big..I dont think "gravity" per se has much to do with it...its really the tension on the scar...for instance, I have a scar on my back that runs vertically, and a small portion of it stretched a bit when i started working out again..but gravity had nothing to do with that...its simply tension, regardless of the direction....
  11. ....and I would like them back now Joe...you said you wanted to copy 'em, and you'd send 'em right back to me... Oh, and I want my "Steel Magnolias" dvd back too!
  12. Hugh...you will be glad you had them, as they assist in keeping your scar from widening...dont forget, thats a pretty long scar on a pretty sensitive part of your body..imagine how sensitive a 12+ inch scar would be on your leg or stomach, even after 5 weeks!....be patient my man...its worth it..i have no tension in my scalp now, and even have a bit of laxity again..i thought it would NEVER untighten..but it does.,.,scar is now hard for me to even find with my fingers, it lays so flat and is not tender in one spot at all...
  13. oh come on now Social..are you uncomfortable with your "feminine side"??.,.....you had your hair fixed..youre an official "Nancy boy" now....come out of the closet!...
  14. Drew...if you go to your doctor, and you "might" be concerned about prostate cancer...say maybe you have someone in your immediate family that had it, or other prostate problems...then perhaps your doc could prescribe you Proscar for it...if he's cool... otherwise, there are places on the internet that will send it to you , with an online physician writing the prescription..just be careful you dont get it from overseas and end up getting a tablet with jello mix or some other crap in it instead of the real thing..
  15. Whyme...its considered a cosmetic improvement, thats why they dont cover it... Now, if you go to your doctor, and perhaps you might be concerned about your prostate, or fear getting prostate cancer, then if your doctor is cool, he just might prescribe Proscar, which is the same as Propecia, but is prescribed to help people with prostate issues...this is all theoretical mind you..
  16. so we are thinking these excellent results have something to do with whether you watch a movie during the procedure or not??...are you people insane??..how ridiculous! Everyone knows it has to do with whether or not you have a caesar salad for dinner the night before, and if you then sleep on the right of left side of the bed!
  17. lolol HW...i dont give a rusty bucket if you take it or not honey!! i think you notice your nails growing like mad within a month...my skin is definitely less dry in summer, and since i do love the sun, one other thing ive noticed is i havent once had ANY peeling or dry skin after a day on the boat... as far as your hair growin faster, that probably happens within a month as well..my transplanted hair is still growing at a slower pace then my existing hair, which some others have noticed as well, but im convinced the msm had something to do with my sprouting at 6 weeks or so... as for now, im going thru nail clippers pretty quick, and booking haircuts every 4 weeks!
  18. East... not sure about other vitamins, but MegaMan from GNC has all those and a ton more...
  19. i agree with Smoothy...this doctor sounds like a quack.... actually, you can ask most any doctor, and he'll tell you that if you have your testicles surgically removed, you'll never have to worry about hair loss...there's no such thing as a bald eunich... now, that might not be a valid option for some of us, i'll grant you that...
  20. Drew...you can use a pill cutter if you like..i even have one..but to be honest, they are easily split with just using my thumbnail...seriously!..it makes a better cut than trying to line up the pill in a pill cutter..
  21. theyre probably not as vain as we are......some of them actually have had transplants though.. i guess its the same reason a lot of plastic surgeons don't all look like Ken dolls...
  22. Another "genius" working for the VA..your doctor doesnt have a clue..these drugs actually help PREVENT prostate cancer, not cause it!..jesus... there are online pharmacies in the US and Canada that will supply you Proscar very easily...check them out...Rogaine you can get at a drugstore, the generic 5% solution is cheaper than the original...ive seen it as low as 25 bucks for a three month supply... doing both of these could actually help your existing hair, and possibly regenerate some of your loss..dont expect miracles though...if youre really planning to get an HT, you should be on these now....
