  1. Hi Bill, Looked at all your pictures. I think that your hair looks good. I was thinking about going to hasson or the one Pat went to. Not sure yet. My problem is just coming up with the money. It must cost a fortune. Especially for me being a a 6 or possible 7. Went o Hassons people and he said I had a lot of donar heair and being blonde helps alot. At 58 I am still blond with no gray. Can't wait to see your new pics after it grows out.
  2. Some of you know me and have seen my pictures. If I am a NW 6 and possibly close to a 7 then in reality. How much good would a transplant do? Would it cover enough to not look as bald. Right now I notice it big time and I look like Bozo. It seems if everyone has a 6 then they can get the same amount of hair.. 7 same thing. Do we have any pics on site that show anyone before with a NW6 or 7 then afterwards? I ma 58 and still blonde so that may help. Seems like it would be cheaper since you have less hair to work with.

  4. Your right there. I'm also trying to get the VA to do a HT they use to do them. One of the Drs. said it would do me good probably to have one. The opnly way VA does it now is if a Psychiartist says you ned one. Hell I'll go see one. I will talk to the Dr when I see him and ask him. I thought maybe there might be a Dr on hre who would know.
  5. Hi Pat, It's good to be back even though I haven't really left. This is my site I follow. I was just wondering anbout the issue that was taking place when I left. I thought that maybe something wasn't right with them. I have to admit I felt very comfortable getting evaluated by their guy in Seattle. I felt good about it. I have decided thta when I do get it done it will be with either your guy or H & W. Keep up the good work Pat. Is Rober t still the moderator.
  6. I have to take simvastin 80mg for cholestrol, levothyroxin 0.137mg for thyroid, terazosin HCL 1MG cap for prostate, and gabapentrin 300 mg 4 x a day for leg pain from injuries received in the service anmd plavix (Clopidogrel Bisulfate 75mg x 1 a day (Blood thinner. Any Drs. out there know if this would effect the meds you take for the transplant? I'd hate to get one done then find out all the hair will fall outr because thew meds I take are contradicting the meds for the hair.
  7. For the last few years evryone on site was talking about Hasson and Wong, and just before I left the site was saying that there were some problems with the site and Hasson and Wong. The reason I asked is because I just gopt a flyer that said Pat was just up there and watched them do great work? So what's up?
  8. Even when I first wrote this, I have noticed that at 57 now it is still getting thin there. The reason the Dr. was worried about the meds was because he was worried about my prostate. Seems to be a problem with it. Maybe he thought the meds would screw with the meds he was giving me for prostate
  9. If I kee[p waiting any longer hell Ithey may have to make me a NW 8 I am hoping that I do have enough donor hair to put somewhere up there to give it a little fullness> I need to look the best I can at my age when they bury me.
  10. Damn, Bobby, The HT sure turned out good. Man, I am impressed. You've come a long way . It seems like just yesterday that you had it done. Look how good it looks now. Looks like it has always been there. The Doc did an excellent job.
  11. I would suggest that you take some time and read up on all this. I know this site probably has any answer you want. I wouldn't jump into anything right now until you take your time and educate yourself more.
  12. Robert, I looked at the Drs. site from Brazil but I cna't read it because everything is in Spanish. You need to get a hold of him and tell him to put some things in English. That woould help his site very much I think.
  13. I had the upper eye lid done in the Navy. I lost my eyelids in the service and they had to resew them back on. It turned out really well.As for the neck. Never had that done, but as I look I can tell you now that I sure need it.
  14. Robert, I am 57 and not long a go I use to be able to shoot a knat at 500 yards, now it is where it seems like I can't see far distances and need glasses to read books now. Does this surgery cover long distance as well as hort distances such as reading? If this will work, I was thinking aboiut going to the VA to see if Ican get them to do it since I get disability from them for my eyes. My son had that surgery and it worked well. His friend had it down and it was a disaster.
  15. Well according to the chart then,if I were to go 40% that equals 6,655 grafts or 16,305 hairs. The other is 14 or 15% at 2,492 grafts or 6,107 hairs. That sure doesn't seem like a lot. I know in Seattle they told me that I have a large amount of donor hair. It seems like I will still be bald
