1. ahhh...now i get it..good god, why didnt i get that at first..lol...thanks Joseph... and yes, Vancouver DOES have some excellent looking women there..and now that Joe is one HAIRY SEXY BEAST, I'm sure more will be migrating down to Seattle... ------------------------------ 4600 grafts/ 12/10/2003/ Dr. Jerry Wong Aren't you glad you know me, and have such easy access to my dementia???
2.
quote:
1 Hair Grafts...1103 2 Hair,(or more)...2958 Total...4061 Peace, Joe Tillman aka, Jotronic Huh?...what does this mean?.. ------------------------------ 4600 grafts/ 12/10/2003/ Dr. Jerry Wong Aren't you glad you know me, and have such easy access to my dementia???
3. i think its looking REAL good...actually, i am one day behind you in our HT...i had mine on the 10th with Dr. Wong...i guess i'd better get some pics made up..we can do a comparison mate! and just think..i bet youve got less than 25% of those babies growin outside...wait for the next 3 months!
4. you dont know what youre getting from manufacturers in India and Mexico, as well as other countries..FDA is cracking down on these places who allow heavy metals( including arsenic!) and other elements dangerous to the human body to be part of these products...and they are also finding that the active ingredient that is suppose to be a major part of these drugs, is in many cases a very low percentage of the ingredients, and in some cases, the drug doesnt contain ANY of the active ingredient.... these countries have zero manufacturing standards when it comes to pharmaceuticals...as opposed to the US and I believe Canada having strict manufacturing standards for these drugs...
5. its all over the place...walmart even has it...i purchased mine at a drugstore..and got the GNC brand..i saw some where it was combined with some other stuff as well....checkout drugstore.com as there are a bunch of brands and combinations there..
6. in a post a few weeks back, i mentioned these foreign made drugs, specifically those manufactured in India and Mexico, as now being investigated by the FDA and some other government agencies..seems in independent testing, these drugs made in India, Mexico, and other foreign countries contain only various percentages of the actual active ingredient, and in one case, one of the drugs tested contained NONE of the active ingredient...they have also been found to contain various other dangerous elements..heavy metals and other harmful ingredients... so in buying both finpecia and fincar (both manufactured in India), you may think you are getting the same drug as proscar or propecia, but in fact you are likely getting something less, and perhaps as a result, putting your hair growth at some risk, as these drugs were also found to have a fairly high concentration of heavy metals such as arsenic.... it appears you get what you pay for...
7. completely normal Jet....its similar to what happens to your hair during chemo therapy they say..hair comes back first wispy and thin..then a bit curly or wavy..then as it strengthens, it takes on the normal characteristics of your existing hair...
8. i think his name was actually Rassman...i think hes an NHI guy....yikes!
9.
quote:
Bverotti: "Well, apart from the financial aspect this is truly good news for many HL patients out there" "Well, apart from the gunfire Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play"... lol..no offense Bverotti, but it was just too good to pass up...
10. your story about your first experience is excellent..it really highlights all the elements found in some of these hair mill and local plastic surgery outfits...they do hair strictly for the money, relying on the ignorance of people unfamiliar with what is really possible out there .....they dont care about improving their processes and techniques to achieve the results of a Shapiro, or Keene, or HW...its not worth their investment in equipment and tools and techniques.....its a shame they continue to operate on unsuspecting customers....
11.
quote:
This is an important moment in the history of FUE. A new era has just began. lol...a new era is right...it will be the first time in history that someone pays more for their hair, than they did for their house...lol...whats the bill going to be for this?..im guessing between $80-100k?....and for strip, this would run around...hmmm...27k or so....
12.
quote:
-hairmill doctors will not suture the strip wound themselves but leave that again to an inexperienced technician which results in huge scars.
quote:
The hair mill doctors have several patients per day so they leave the placement to their often inexperienced technicians which results in poosr placement and often odd directions on the implanted grafts. Furthermore and more importantly it is very unlikely that more than maybe 50% of the grafts will grow. Grafts need to be placed by experienced doctors. I believe that there isnt a strip surgeon, reputable or otherwise, who places the grafts himself..they may do some, or it may be that an FUE procedure would require it, ..but in most cases, the surgeons do the cutting of the slits or holes, but the techs end up placing the grafts..even HW follows that process... Also, i know its illegal in the US and Canada for anyone other than the surgeon to do the suturing and stapling of the donor area...again,I doubt any clinic at all has graft technicians do any suturing...
13. personally, its here now...i cant stop the lil buggers from growin out my damn ears...
14. sorry Hair..didnt read it right i guess...I actually take it every day...never had any side effects whatsoever..but I'm sure it can vary by individual...
15. can anyone , surgeon or otherwise, comment on the long term look of a donor area after FUE sessions?... as we all know, hair density will decrease as a person ages...would the amount of removed hair from an FUE surgery, cause that area to look excessively thin in the coming years?..since that it what is taking place with FUE, a "thinning" of the donor area....as opposed to strip, where "removal and suturing" leaves the donor area with the same density... thats not to say that a strip scar might not be revealed as you age as well, but might be more easily hidden with longer hair....but wouldn't a inch wide donor area from FUE look like a one inch strip of thinner density, than the rest of your scalp?.... I have yet to see anyone address this question...but if you're looking at long term affects of FUE, shouldn't someone have an answer?...

17. I've been on proscar for three years..when i first started using it, I read a study that when Propecia was first going through clinical trials as a hair loss med, varying dosages were tried...dosages above 1.25 mg per day were found to have neglible long term improvement on the hair loss....unless there's been additional testing done on it, I have yet to see any other studies that dispute this..
18. other than the dosage, its exactly the same... be careful if your buying it over the internet..check out the following link....sounds like a lot of internet drug ripoffs are occuring....I'd only buy it now from someone who is distributing only drugs manufactured in the US... http://hair-restoration-info.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=5696015661&f=6566060861&m=9876061085
19. a couple questions....what was the reason for the additional FUE sessions, just to improve the pre-existing density of the first procedure? Also, was lack of scalp laxity the reason he chose FUE the second time?..or where there other reasons?...
20. I was going to respond the same way..but thought better of it...lol Hey, i understand from Mr. Ferko that you might be headin out this way in March..and that you might be bringing your clubs along...
21. havent experienced that at all with yohimbe...i get mine from drugstore.com..natrol is the brand i think...maybe its the quantity as well..not sure...i've heard Viagra has some similar side effects, depending on the amount you take..supposedly its the big trend in hollywood now..taking viagra whether you need it or not..
22. Gentlemen... try taking some Yohimbe bark...and some L-Arginine...check them out..they are the key ingredients in many of these so-called "natural" alternatives to Viagra...they're also great if you work out a lot...both of these can be found at any GNC store or drugstore.com..pretty reasonable price..the L-Arginine is found in a GNC product called Arginmax..

24. i started on proscar a couple years ago...had some slight erection problems..but found that actually having a naked flight attendant in the same room, cured everything!...I would recommend this solution in a heartbeat.. and yes, it was a female flight attendant, for those of you thinking you're going to come up with some comic response to this...Beatcha!
25. aaron..i was lucky...i had a physician friend prescribe it as a prostate cancer drug, not for cosmetic reasons...even got my medical insurance company to fund it...i stockpiled a ton of it that way..and have yet to run out after two years...once i have to refill it, to be honest, I'm not sure where I'm going to go for it...after that news release, it scares me a bit to get any drug off the internet right now..I was under the impression that Canada was a pretty good source for manufacturing of pharmaceuticals..but if they can merely get it from India, and send it on to you as theirs, then who knows... .arsenic and mercury are NOT my favorite things to ingest..hopefully, the FDA or federal government might do something to stop the import of this crap from Mexico or India..but more than likely, a few people are going to have to die first, before someone in Congress forces some regulation on this stuff...
