Good to see a report from this Dr, who has been heavily promoted by a prominent YouTuber. Works looks good, but some before pics would be good to get a better idea here. You mentioned they could only get 3000 from your donor? Was that due to donor capacity?

It seems that the hair transplants performed by many others up to now haven't achieved a 100% yield or a low transaction rate. I've conducted numerous repairs and witnessed things that shocked me. However, after encountering them more frequently, it's evident that the average quality of hair transplants isn't as great as it could and should be. Moreover, if practitioners continue learning from the same mentors and teachers, the quality is unlikely to improve. Just my humble opinion before some so-called hair experts, who have been reading things about hair online and on forums, come here to argue that they know better. No, you don’t know better because if you did, you would've been here in my shoes. -

Beard looking sublime after 5.5k grafts. Solid donor management there. Back of the head looks good too, so soon after surgery and with a super short buzz. The only slight noticeable bit is the tiny denser patch untouched right under your horseshoe. No one would ever notice, but obv here I know what to look for. Did you discuss that with the Dr.? Was it left out because it wasn’t in the “safe zone”? It’s not an issue, I am sure with grown hair you can’t notice it even to the most keen HT hawk eyes. Just wondering tho, as I have seen that in a few case studies. Finally, did you discuss the crown with the Dr. before the procedure. Did you get the famous swirl, as I can’t quite tell from your pics? Or not something you were too bothered with? Anyways, congrats on the choice, the write up and your results. Looks banging, no doubt. Hope it’s alright asking the questions, I am considering the good doc. myself. -

I am in Dallas, TX. I consulted with Lam, Arocha, Lee at Restore, and McGrath. I chose McGrath because he was president of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, and he's been around a long time. I went in for 2500 and told him to take what he could for front and mid. His tech got 3000. The whole procedure was easy, only issue is I have a herniated disk in my neck and even through the drugs after 5 hours I was pretty uncomfortable. Had I mentioned it they probably could have made some mods to the chair. Whole thing lasted from 8am to 4pm. Cost was ~$15k. -

This is a follow-up post on the patient I previously posted on last September. The patient took his own photos at home over the course of months and I thought it might be nice to post his healing journey. We are really grateful he took these photos and sent them to us as it helps others to visualize their potential journey. There is also a video on the home page of my site that details the growth timeline more. Hopefully, some patients will find these helpful.
