Regular Member Bej520 Posted March 9 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 9 (edited) Circa 3 1/2 month update. Growth is now looking incredible, I’m increasingly optimistic about the prospects here. For what it’s worth, I have been washing my head everyday as normal once in the morning and once at night with a shampoo provided by the clinic. I then moisturise my head, apply Miele rosemary oil and take a generic biotin pill. Edited March 9 by Bej520

Regular Member Bej520 Posted March 10 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 10 For those interested in how the chest is healing, I’m quite happy with it. I do get a couple of spots, which I pop but those are few and far between. I’ve had a few ingrown hairs too, which my girlfriend helped me pluck. Regular Member Bej520 Posted March 24 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 24 Month 4 Update - I’m really happy with how the growth has started to come in already, though I’m somewhat scared I may have plateaued quite early. I’m not sure if ‘too much too soon’ is a thing, but I guess that’s the pessimist in me. Have a look for yourselves guys, I’ll be getting a haircut today so I’ll post some pictures when I get some more time. The recovery of chest area has really gone to another level this month too, and as I’ve got a full beard now the beard is healed by proxy too.

Regular Member Bej520 Posted April 6 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 6 No real changes to report, I can see a few new hairs popping out so should be slightly better in two weeks. Still plenty of vallus hairs too which is promising.

Or is this normal to have in the donor area one month post op? See pic below We all go thru this wondering if grafts survive. 4 months will show your initial results and gain you some confidence. It is an emotional roller coaster the first 4 months for sure.
