Thanks all, really pleased so far. Same as everyone I am dreading the shed but buzzing for the final position.

My final graft numbers were:

440 single

940 double

670 multiple

Total :2050 grafts

1700 in the hairline with remainder in the crown.

I switched to oral min in Jan, which if nothing else is helping my beard growth! I've managed to take the top line of my beard about 1cm higher in that period.

Currently undecided between letting the whole lot grow out vs keeping it all buzzed until the recipient starts to regrow and thicken...

I personally grew it out I did the no show method where only the donor was shaved the top was left as is

3 week update, native hair is growing back way quicker than transplanted hair so providing a fair amount of contrast between the areas but sent my pics to the clinic at day 15 and they are happy it is all good and healthy. It will only look worse as the shed draws near but that's what we all signed up for! 20230412_184126.thumb.jpg.b298028dbc3eec97dc5253a9edfcd1ce.jpg20230412_184131.thumb.jpg.b023ab23f91a35802e5655af8a9530ea.jpg

1 month results, lots of length and thickness back for the native. Plenty of shed in the recipient. Little bit dry and flaky but otherwise all good so far...

Hi all,

pics below at 2 months post op. Dryness/Flakiness is much better, not sure if on its own or due to oil being used couple of times a week but all good.

currently you are at little better place than baseline (pre surgery) which is expected due to shedding phase.

you will see great grow after next 2 months.

by next month more baby hair should come.

how much is bicer charging atm? 3 eur per graft?

I'm not entirely sure, I was €2 per graft but that was booked May last year. I had seen prices had gone to €2.50/graft but not sure if it has gone up further

Hi all,

3 months down now. Lots of little hairs coming through, seem to be able to feel an almost permanent stubble round all the transplanted areas as new hairs keep sprouting. Now just a few more months for them to grow and thicken up (and be joined by plenty more!)

4 months down! New hairline is definitely settled in, looking forward to the next couple of months particularly to get some length back all over and thicken up the new stuff! Pics below, included a few wet under spotlight as well. Had a couple of haircuts on the donor but nothing on the top yet

Beautiful, can already tell this will be a home run. Do not worry if the crown grows in a bit later. Less blood flow at the back of the head so can take up to 18 months to fully mature.
