  1. 10 Month Update Happy with where things have ended up. The left temple hairline is a little thinner than the right, though we did use more grafts in the right as there was more recession here. Granted, my hairstyle doesn't help that! I do plan in a couple of years when my crown is needed to get a top up in the left temple, which Bicer said would likely be necessary. But still - happy with the result. Left Temple Right Temple
  2. Thanks Melvin - crazy to see when you put it side by side.
  3. *9 Month Update* Overall very happy at this point, have noticed as @Gatsby said previous more subtle growth and density. Will continue updates for next three months either way but at this point I'm really happy with how it's turning out. Photos are post-wash so a little wet too for more real images. Month 9 Left Temple and Closeup. *Month 9 Right Temple & Closeup* *Month 9 Back Of head - wet hair*
  4. *8 Month Update* Not much to report - still feel it's coming along well. Still am noticing new growth in closeups, which I am slightly surprised to still see new growth at this stage. Still feel pretty optimistic I'll see an increase in density, specifically in left temple over next 4 months. Right Temple 8 Month 8 Month Left Temple 8 Month Back Of Head
  5. Youre over worrying. Advice on the cautious end stops at 30 days. You've done no harm. Overdoing it would mean frequent binge drinking which may restrict blood vessels and hence slow potential growth.
  6. Hely Abby - just so you know, you can do this on your own. Just click the three dots and select 'edit', then just delete the images manually and then update the post. They'll no longer show.
  7. Following keenly - you're on track, keep us updated.
  8. Hey mate, I know this is worrying, but there's the most positive thing is that the post-surgery scab removal looks extremely good at Day 12. Are you a fast grower, no... but you're not so far behind that it's unreasonable. Hopefully month 6-9 will be a turning point. I'd take some real close ups on a high quality camera phone, I'd imagine seeing new growth would help alleviate some of the stress. The quality of images is poor so at times it can make growth look a little worse. Still feel this will be a good result, but you're just a little slower. Keep us updated and keep your head up, this will be fine.
  9. I don't wear it as a fringe but I'll take some pics later today and tag you!
  10. Great for 3.5 months. You are ahead of the norm, happy growing!
  11. *7 Month Update* A couple days early this month as I'll be unable to get this done on time otherwise! No idea why I really blurred photos initially, but haven't done that this month, the black bars are gone. Right & Left Temple 7 Months WIDER SHOT IMAGES MONTH 7 Also thought I'd share this for those that may experience shedding with medication. This image below was taken before my hair transplant, where I had experienced shedding having become super strict on taking min & fin.
  12. You are absolutely on track. I know we've spoken over DM but you're where you should be for 5.5 months. You're not even at the half way mark - this is going to be a great result imo.
  13. Sorry about the delayed reply! - missed this initially. Apologies for delayed reply - didn't see the notification on this. Yeah seems super reasonable, agree by the way. I've got a big head too haha - and more importantly, saving the grafts for the future is so important. Thanks for the kind words but to be totally honest, I think there are a ton of doctors that can do really good work in 'simpler' jobs in temple* areas. I'm not sure really there's a huge difference, I think at times you're probably just paying for the peace of mind. Gur has good results and if he's in your price range then it seems like a great option. If you do go through with it I'll be following!
  14. Thanks Martador. Really happy for a half way point, will keep updating monthly, hopefully thickness continues to improve.
  15. Hey mate - good Qs. 1) This seems reasonable, your temporal recession really isn't too bad and your frontal hairline looks in a good place already. So 1500-2000 should look great filling in the temples. Is there discussion as to whether or not they'll move the hairline down? It doesn't look needed to me - but obviously see what the expert Docs say! 2) I've seen some really good results from Dr Gur on here, but one of the more seasoned vets may be able to give some better info as to his skillset for you. 3) Looks natural and realistic. Taking a hairline down further should only be done if essential, the most important thing is you protect your grafts for future work if you ever need it, and with 1500-2000 you will. Sorry to hear about Bicer not replying. I'm 29 and went to her 6 months ago, the reason 1500-2000 looks great to me is i had 2500, but had higher temporal recession than you have.
  16. *Month 6 Updates* A few more pictures, has thickened up a bit. Still noticing a lot of new growth, particularly on close up photos so excited for the next few months. Had a haircut to celebrate the 6 month mark, also so the donor area could be analysed properly to look at the shock loss. Had it taken to a 0.5 at the back, which I wouldn't normally do but was curious to see extent of it, not 100% there but good enough. Broadly, pretty pleased with where things are for 6 months and think for a half way point it's doing well. Would be curious to get some more opinions. Any questions about my experience with Dr Bicer feel free to ask too. *Flash On Pictures Month 6 Left & Right Temple* *No Flash Normal View* *Shock Loss 6 Months*
  17. Great stuff to see man! It does look as if those temples have thickened up a bit too over the past couple of months, very noticeable to me! Crazy really to think where you came from to 9 months later, and you'll still see some thickening up in areas. I think the feedback from coworkers/friends etc is so important, hard to notice the progress, pictures help but nothing quite like a compliment from someone else in your life. Happy growing and keep us updated!
