Dr. Vladimir Panine
This 27-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 4 on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to augment his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/2 of his scalp. After establishing his medical history and understanding the progression of his hair loss, I diagnosed his condition as Androgenetic Alopecia (male pattern baldness), ruling out any other possible dermatological or medical conditions which can cause hair loss. Taking his age and hair loss into consideration we discussed his goals and came upon an agreement for a surgical plan that would suite his expectations. During the procedure, I was careful to reconstruct a hairline that would be suitable for him now and as he continued to age. A total of 2,747 grafts were used in the frontal 1/2 of his head. These are his results the day of procedure and 1-year post-op. The patient is extremely happy with his results at this point. Regular Member Marlo Posted August 31, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted August 31, 2022 I don't see how you could classify this patient as a Norwood 4 at all, but nice result nonetheless.

Valued Contributor Steeeve Posted September 6, 2022 Valued Contributor Share Posted September 6, 2022 (edited) Excellent hairline design and reframing of his face! At what month is his final donor picture from? In the final photos presenting his recipient, his hair is much longer and in the final photo his hair looks a little shorter. Was he coming in for more work? Edited September 6, 2022 by Steeeve
