Regular Member Mdc2021 Posted February 18, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 18, 2022 @folicallychallengedThey didn't explain why, and I didn't asked. I've seen the clinic do the same thing to other patients. I figured its because the amount extracted is unnoticeable anyway, so they just pick from one side and leave one side of the 'bank' untouched. But its a good question, why, that I haven't given much thought until now.
Fredrik - BHR Nordic
Hello my patient! Thank you for sharing your case!🤩 It's common at BHR we leave one side untouched. We keep to our well known extraction pattern and start on one side and work our way round. When we have what's needed we stop. No need to spread more since it only means more injections. This also means a virgin side for future surgeries. We have strict protocol when extracting so there will be no visible change in density on either side.
Regular Member LeBerry Posted February 19, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted February 19, 2022 Looking great, and amazing work with the scabs gone after 8 days. I recall having much more bleeding and therefore scabs, yours looks especially clean.
Regular Member TheManeMan Posted February 19, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted February 19, 2022 (edited) Hey OP, we chatted in the waiting area right before you went in (I had a consultation right after you). Well done on going for it, donor area looks good and the placement also looks good! Excited to see the final result. Regular Member Mdc2021 Posted February 19, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 19, 2022 @LeBerryThanks. It was hard to not 'pick' the scabs off, cause they were so loose! I fear I might have been too rough, but yeah, It looks cleans, and haven't had any bleeding. I'm at day 10 now it looks really good. Just red skin 🙂
Regular Member Mdc2021 Posted February 19, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 19, 2022 (edited) @TheManeMan Cheers! Ye, I remember when we met at the clinic in November I wasn't sure, I would go for it all. It feels like standing at the edge of a bridge and having to jump, and just hope for a good landing. Really glad I did it. I can already tell that framing of the face really makes a big different. Edited February 19, 2022 by Mdc2021

Fredrik - BHR Nordic
Looks great! Donor healed really well! Recipient also looks great, redness will continue to fade coming months. Some grafts will now go into resting phase. If you're lucky some might skip the resting and continue to grow immediately - like many of our patients recently. We will continue to have contact and you send me updates month 3, 6, 9, 12 so we see everything proceed accordingly. Don't hesitate to drop me a mail if any questions! Cheers mate!🙂

Using nicotine gum and a nordic thing called Snus, no cigarettes tho. - I waited until day 11, but have been using it since 😬. I worry about this a lot, but damn im so addicted.

Two questions: 1. Has anyone noticed that you had any surgery done? (presuming you haven't told people, that is.) 2. Have you thought about what kind of hairstyle you will be going for when it all starts to fully grow out?
Regular Member Mdc2021 Posted April 10, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 10, 2022 (edited) People I haven't told, haven't commented on me having a hairtransplant. Just having a weird haircut, lol. Think I will go classic and boring long on top and fade on side and back. Regular Member Mdc2021 Posted April 10, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 10, 2022 Its not too bad. I've gotten used to wearing a cap. But id say its almost not noticeable when my hair is combed forward.

Nice! Long on top slicked back you mean? Or fringe? Just wondering what styles you think are possible once it grows through?
Regular Member Mdc2021 Posted April 10, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 10, 2022 I hope I can pull something like this off once its grown out. Regular Member Mdc2021 Posted June 2, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 2, 2022 3 & 4 months update. At the Mark of 12 weeks, I've shedded all the hair. From 12 to 16 weeks hairs have began to grow longer. 3 months mark 16 weeks mark. As you can see, lighting makes a big difference at this stage Donor 16 weeks mark
Regular Member Mdc2021 Posted June 2, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 2, 2022 Overall really happy at this point . Can't wait to see how it will progress. Best part is knowing that there is more to come, and that I don't check my hairline multiple times everyday.

Fredrik - BHR Nordic
Thanks for the update! You can really see the jump from 3 to 4 months. A lot of early growth already now and more to come. At this stage you also see the typical lower quality of the hairs - which is normal. 🙂 Looking forward for more updates. I have no doubt this will be another home run.💯 PS. Nordic countries! Dr Bisanga and Dr Kostis will visit Oslo Saturday July 2th for consultations. Just wondering as you said “patients recently”.
