Nope, no skin irritation at all. Unless someone has a weird allergy to minoxidil that I've never heard of, it's not a skin irritant by itself. The skin irritation from the topical comes from the other ingredients in the formula, like propylene glycol, that help to penetrate the skin so that the minoxidil gets absorbed. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
