question about coloring hair

It was safe to dye after 1 month, so go ahead.

4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013

1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018

Absolutely!  Are you covering gray, highlighting, or changing the color completely?   Years ago I used to do a light rinse in summer to bring out the blondes.    

I'm serious.  Just look at my face.

getting lots of greys on the sides, I've heard of "rinses" before, are they more natural? is this just a salon treatment or are there over the counter products? Was never a big fan of the full dyed hair look and wanted to keep it more natural if possible

A rinse is a temporary coloring lasting 5-6 shampoos - it contains color pigments that stain the outer layer (cuticle) of the hair. Hair color dyes contain color molecules that deposit into the middle layer (cortex) of the hair through a chemical process.  It's a temporary solution that lets you decide how a color can look.
