Senior Member PupDaddy Posted August 27, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2012 My only reservation about Dr. Lorenzo's work is that some of his hairlines look, to me, a bit less refined, appealingly irregular, and/or dense than they might. Whether that is a product of design or of limitations of the Choi implanter pen, I don't know -- and others might very well disagree with my totally subjective observation. But no doubt about it: Dr. Lorenzo has posted more, thoroughly detailed, consistently good-to-great FUE results than anyone I know of, and I think he belongs on anyone's short list of FUE surgeons. Also, I have no problem with his and his technicians' speed and agility handling the grafts and loading them into the implanter pen. The proof is in the pudding, and from what I've seen with his many, many posted, video results, Dr. Lorenzo consistently achieves excellent yield with FUE. Senior Member PupDaddy Posted August 27, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2012 You mean his hairlines are too dense or not dense enough? Sorry for the confusing syntax, Mickey. I was saying that some of Dr. L's hairlines aren't quite as dense as I'd like to see but, more so, some of them aren't quite as naturally irregular or as refined as I'd like to see. Not to say they aren't good -- they are, only that I've seen some hairline work from other ht docs that, generally speaking, I prefer. But I'm not slogging Dr. Lorenzo at all. I would seriously consider him for an FUE restoration, which is saying something because at this point, there are only a small handful of FUE docs I would personally consider. Ahh, no worries PupDaddy Granted, some of his hairlines are not on the same consistency as say Rahal or that Doctor who shares the same name as the Italian fashion designer, but I don't think anyone else stacks up in terms of FUE yield as Lorenzo. Senior Member JohnnyDrama Posted April 24, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted April 24, 2013 Would love to see Dr Lorenzo, but if he is not taking foreign patients... He is taking foreign patients. My read on it is, he has such an incredible waiting list from purely local clientele, that international people are put off as they can have the option of going to other top surgeons months and months earlier. He is also quite expensive in comparison to other top FUE docs. This could also be a factor why so few foreign patients pass through. 2,200 FUE + PRP with Dr Bisanga - BHR Clinic, 22-23 August 2013 - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171950-my-fue-2-200-prp-dr-bisanga-bhr-clinic.html Current Regimen: - Rogaine 5% Foam 2x daily - Jasons Restorative Biotin Shampoo 2x daily / Nizoral 2% 2x weekly - Nettle Root 500mg, MSM 1500mg, Biotin 5mg, Multi Vit, Omega
Senior Member alix Posted April 25, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted April 25, 2013 He is also quite expensive in comparison to other top FUE docs. This could also be a factor why so few foreign patients pass through. as far as I know he's rates are not that different comparing to other top FUE docs: (the price is descending): From 1 to 1000 grafts $7.24 each graft (5.56 Euros) From 1001 to 2000 grafts $4.97 each grafts (3.82 Euros) From 2001 to upward is $3.10 each grafts (2.38 Euros) also I think he does almost all the job himself. I am a FUT patient and currently awaiting my procedure with Feriduni but if I wanted full on FUE,Lorenzo would be my first choice worldwide.I believe he is the best FUE doctor in the world, based on the large number of great video results available on youtube. Senior Member JohnnyDrama Posted April 25, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted April 25, 2013 Sorry, I should have mentioned 'other top European docs', as that is who I was comparing him to. However, if the prices you have displayed are correct, he does in fact fall in line with them. I was just referring to a thread that I read recently where somebody was looking at getting 3,000 FUE grafts and he seemed to come up with the notion that it would cost him closer to €16k with Lorenzo instead of the €12k mark you have suggested with these prices. He may have calculated it wrong of course. 2,200 FUE + PRP with Dr Bisanga - BHR Clinic, 22-23 August 2013 - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171950-my-fue-2-200-prp-dr-bisanga-bhr-clinic.html Current Regimen: - Rogaine 5% Foam 2x daily - Jasons Restorative Biotin Shampoo 2x daily / Nizoral 2% 2x weekly - Nettle Root 500mg, MSM 1500mg, Biotin 5mg, Multi Vit, Omega

Senior Member Denny Posted April 25, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted April 25, 2013 Mickey, in England the prices are higher. I spoke to his representative and I was informed that: first 1.000 grafts - 6 pounds. Above that: 4 pounds per graft. An amazing experience (4002 grafts) with Dr. Koray Erdogan (ASMED Clinic). Mick from Farjo
We are delighted to announce that the Farjo Hair Institute and Injertocapilar (Dr Jose Lorenzo) have combined forces to provide the UK, Europe and indeed, the rest of world, with the best quality solutions for hair loss sufferers. Dr Lorenzo is a world renowned manual FUE specialist who has been performing surgery for the last decade in Madrid, Spain. His skill, knowledge and experience as a hair transplant surgeon has led him to not only have an expansive surgical diary, but to also be in constant demand to lecture all over the globe. The mutual high regard and respect Dr Lorenzo and Drs Farjo have had for each other has also led to a personal friendship. As it has always been one of Dr Lorenzo’s goals to work in England, and the Farjo Hair Institute recently opening a new and expanded state of the art facility in the centre of Manchester, it was felt that this would be a great opportunity to work together. The new venture will officially start offering treatments in September 2013 and word has already started to spread throughout the hair loss community. Farjo has already been offering FUE for some time now, and this new service will be in addition to that as part of ongoing expansion of services to our patients. The knowledge that people in the UK and beyond will soon be able to acquire the combined services and expertise of the newly formed group is creating quite a buzz! Please feel free to ask about the new venture which will also involve Dr Lorenzo applying to become a recommended doctor on HTN.This is something i believe that many have wanted for quite a long time.
