Graham i am happy that you are pleased with your treatment but i need to reitterate Dr Farjo has neither trained any of the doctor's you mentioned or been involved in any clinic that they have.I have worked with him for 18 years and can state the above with 100% certainty. This post is not about me or anything to do with the surgery that i have had.

Best uk hairtransplant,

What makes you so sure that the doctors you mentioned have trained under or worked with either of the Farjos'? Mick who has worked for the Farjos' for almost two decades has told you this isn't the case, though you still seem adamant.

Having had a consultation with a clinic in Glasgow and considered the hospital group before I saw the light and found the hair transplant network, I'd say that the hospital group are well known in the UK for cosmetic surgery but their tansplants are poor.

Hair transplants are more specialist. A guy at a rival clinic told me that the hospital group are getting normal docrtors to perform their transplants and training them up.

What I will say is that there has been a few cases of poor results from the hospital group - one dr got into trouble with the general medical council i believe.

Basically, they are the UK equivalent of boseley. They are basically pretty poor, but cheap. But I wouldn't take a bad hair transplant if I was offered it free!!

And progesterone - what's that all about - that's a female sex hormone - they use it as a female contraceptive.

Hes writing that expecting us to think its cool to of worked with Dr Rogers? Give me a break, Dr Rogers is one of the docs responsible for my mis-angled hairs. I group him together with Norton for results, sure hes better now than he was then, but that means he practiced on me!

hi everyone,i am pleased to say i am a 21 year old chap who went to The Hospital Group for a hair transplant, i was very sceptical as was my mother who attended a consultation with Tarquin Blandford,he informed me of the risks involved and he said he would need to see the surgeon before a decision was made as i was to young and the fear of me losing my other hair would become reality,HE EVEN SOLD ME THE NEGATIVES POSITIVELY,however i met with the surgeon, Dr Goldstone and after a long hard reality check and loads of sleepless nights i agreed to get my hairline restored approx 1900 grafts was put in, 13 months later and i am very, very happy, my only gripe i have with The Hospital Group was that, had they told me the swelling would be there for 1 week when it was actually there for 2 weeks and i missed a uni exam,Tarquim had also told me about sum tablets which the hospital Group would charge ??700 per year but my doctor gave me for half the price!! and if i hadnt researched i would have been ripped off!! all in all my results are excellent and my big fear was the scar that has healed well in .my mums opinion

best uk,

No matter what you say, sometimes actions speak louder than words. You seem to be pushing real hard for members to consider Dr. Westwood. You've even gone as far as to disrespect Mick by claiming that because he's employed at a clinic that he can't be ethical and genuine.

I'll never understand those who take this point of view. Since you feel that nobody can enjoy and perform their job responsibly and ethically if they're paid for it, I assume that you were quite the unethical crook when you were employed.

Mick is an upstanding member of our community and the Farjo clinic has proven to be a world's leading hair restoration clinic. You are welcome to share your experiences here, but do it without disrespecting others.

Regards,

Bill

I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND I MEAN IT. Felix, you're 21 and you got a 1900 in the hairline? this suggests your hairloss is fairly minor, however, 21 is very young to start receding, and to have a HT.

When you say Tarquin sold you you negatives, positively, what do you mean?

I had it shaved to get it repaired you idiot. I went to a good clinic to get it repaired, ie not The goddam Hospital Group. Expected too much? give me a break, they tell you they have transplanted 1000, and 200 grow? wtf! How could I be anything but sad about getting butchered? They have a long history of hacking people up and not giving a shit about it, blame them for not doing the "new?" technique on my scar, you say that like I had a choice.

I know how you feel Sparky, a bad HT is unbearable, paying 000s to be disfigured is devastating, at the hands of a Dr?.. beyond belief! I hope Felix will post some pics of his great result with HG, he is the satisfied HG patient, I have ever heard from.

I think it's a mixture of ignorance and desperation. Wanting to take of the problem as soon as possible, it's the male mind..problem solvers.

Not to mention the greed and sociopathic lying from some of these hair mills. It's all about profit, and not caring about the people.

Yeah the bloke his missus ran off with, poor guy, mind you, I bet he's not half as disfigured as some of Nortons later victims and at least he did'nt pay to be disfigured. I can't believe the GMC allowed him to continue running a clinic after he'd been struck off. I've heard the Norton Clinic has recently been wound up.. again.. icon_rolleyes.gif

to sparky and slaps thanks 4 telling me about ethical doctors, in brazil people have cosmetic surgery at 15 years old, sorry i forgot i was a 16 year old in a 21 year old body.i will post my pictures soon so you can both get even more hatefull towards ME.i am very happy accept it i escaped but my best friend had a transplant at transform ,with a 'special hair doctor' and he put the hairs in the wrong way,1 year later hairs grow in a crop circle and he has a massive scar which is a horrible situation for anyone,i hope u both get what you want but have an open mind results vary from the best to the worst and thats it. my mum was so disappointed when i had it done she ignored me for 2 months, but she is cool now, and if you ask me to do it again no way would i it was so painful my eyes still water today.

i too saw the webpage that stated that Norton was being wound up.... but i only live a few miles away and its still there....... the gp section has moved into a larger building next door, leaving just Norton and West One Smart Lipo in the old building.

Norton still goes there as his porsche was there the other day icon_confused.gif
