Senior Member mattj Posted June 13, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted June 13, 2017 This patient came to Dr Rahal at age 50 with the goal of restoring his hairline and frontal region via FUE. He was a 3 on the Norwood scale. The patient's age, healthy donor and minimum risk of extensive future loss made him a great candidate for a procedure that could be considered on the aggressive side, and Dr Rahal designed a hairline that is perfectly balanced with the patient's facial proportions. The average density was 46.5 grafts per cm, but the patient has a higher than average number of hairs per graft, giving an overall density of 107 hairs per cm. This, together with a thicker hair caliber and a wavy texture, meant the patient gained great coverage and is thrilled with the result. Surgery Type: FUE Recipient Area Treated - 55cm Total Grafts - 2557 Total Hairs - 5878 Recipient Graft Density - 46.5 grafts/cm Recipient Hair Density - 107 hairs/cm Graft Breakdown: Single Hairs - 457 grafts Two Hairs - 1039 grafts Three Hairs - 901 grafts Four Hairs - 160 grafts Average Hairs Per Graft - 2.3 Pre-op: One Day Post-op: Donor, 8 Days Post-op: Final Result: I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. Senior Member hairthere Posted June 13, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted June 13, 2017 Only shame here is that he didn't show his face; I'll bet he looks like a completely different person. Senior Member garethbale Posted June 13, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted June 13, 2017 Looks awesome. Well done to Dr Rahal and his team. One practical query however, is it possible to hide a HT from work colleagues? I work in an office and I really wouldn't want colleagues knowing. If someone only needed hairline / temple work, could they conceivably keep their native hair long enough to cover the transplanted areas, and can the donor, when shaved, be blended to make it look like a hair cut. Could a concealer be used? Failing all this, how much time is needed off work for the procedure not to look obvious? Sorry for my somewhat off topic post, I'd like to proceed with surgery but this practical aspect holds me back, as I'm sue it does many others. Thank you

Dr. Rahal
PHOTOS ABOVE ARE NOT DISPLAYING PROPERLY , THIS IS A REPOSTING 50 year old patient came in to restore hairline and frontal area by FUE. Dr Rahal, designed a hairline that maybe considered on the aggressive side. The ratio of the placement of the hairline relative to facial proportions is on point. He has a healthy donor, minimal overall risk of future hairloss, great hair caliber and hairs/graft. The average density was at 46.5 grafts per cm but a great 107 hairs/cm. The combination of the hair caliber, hair colour/contrast and wave provides a great coverage. Patient is thrilled.
