It looks like he has had shock loss.

Time will tell.

More and more though, I feel like Dr. Rahal's results seem sub-par. He has good PR though.

Hi,

I'd just like to mention that I've been on fin before and ever since the surgery.

I actually believe due to that, I've experienced next to nothing shock loss, guess I've been lucky, however, my donor did experience some shock loss but it seems fine now.

And the few rahal patients I was comparing my results to are koreanboy and newhairplesse.

Cheers

Sub par?

Do you have any specific cases you are referring too? I haven't seen too many sub par Rahal results.

Newhairplease!!

No, this is terrific growth at 4.5 months. I looked like absolutely garbage at 4.5 months post-op my first time around and had rockstar hair at 7 months. It's just a process. Already a huge cosmetic improvement. You're gonna turn out great.

With me, the progress was pretty slow at the 4 month mark, but right around 4.5 months or there about all hell broke lose and the change became noticible week by week. Every week it just got better and better until around the 6.5 month mark. When I compared 6.5 months to 4.5 months, the difference was absolutely staggering. Trust me, you'll see what we are talking about in the next week or so.

Hello all,

Posting my 6 month pics. Let me know your thoughts please. I'd have liked a bit more growth/density in the frontal area, hopefully it fills up in the coming months.

Cheers

Mate, go back and compare these with the 4.5 month update pictures. I think the growth has been night and day since then. It's looking like you are getting a lot of growth, I'm sure more to come and then it also needs time to mature. If it were to stop growing today, I still think once the hair I see there matures, it will be a lot more dense than it is now. Looking real good, and looking forward to the 7 month mark.

Thanks. I do see a difference yes, as I said I jst hope there is more improvement to come. Spoke to the clinic and Dr Rahal thinks that for further procedures if need be, I have 3000 grafts. Is that the normal capacity it someone was to have a second procedure or in other words is 6500 grafts the lifetime average donor supply of a person?

Yes there will most likely be more to come.

Yes, 6,000 lifetime grafts is the average. I also found Dr Rahal to be on the conservative side when assessing lifetime donor supply. Before my 2nd procedure he assessed it at around 4,000 - 5,000 grafts. Dr Hasson assessed it at 7,000, and Dr Carlos Wesley somewhere closer to 8,000. However, based on your pics, I think 3,000 remaining grafts will be more than sufficient. Are you on meds?

Hello all,

I've reached the 7 months mark and here are the pics. Let me what are your thoughts.

Crown is a serious concern for me. This area was not touched by Dr Rahal during the procedure as it had been agreed prior to the surgery. Will look to go for another procedure at some point for crown work.

Thanks
