Can'tDecide's SMP Thickening

Here is the before and after of Can't Decide's Temp SMP Thickening procedure. CD was a perfect candidate for this as he had enough hair from his HT procedures where the SMP simply acts as a backdrop. The key to making this procedure effective is laying down as much SMP as possible. Our dot size is quite tiny which lends perfectly to creating a Buzz/Shave look, but it also means that we have to work even harder to apply a Thickening effect.

Also, here is CD with the crown parted. It shows how well the HTs and SMP work to disguise the thin crown area. Also see attached a shot with hair partially parted exposing the crown, and finally a $$$ shot....

P.S. For those of you that aren't aware, CD was a full-blown NW6!

Finally a documented case of SMP on a non-shaved head. looks damn good!

I ve a question though, u guys keep talking abt the SMP having the thickening effect? I figured SMP are just lots of dots that mimic vvvvvv short hair but ultimately its only 2D... can someone elaborate a bit more?

thanks!

Haircut and David, Thanks guys! It took us a while to develop a proper protocol for doing Thickening Effect procedures but we have it pretty well figured out now.

wb20,

The SMP acts like Dermatch essentially. You cover as much skin as you can with dots and they work to cut the color contrast between scalp and hair. As I mentioned you need to saturate the scalp with a lot of dots to pull this off. We have more Thickening Effect results on our web site and I'll be posting a bunch more in the next few weeks.

Thanks guys. We took several pictures to capture the SMP so the hair was divided in some of the pics. However, on a day to day basis and with the way I style it, it usually looks like the very last picture.

Nice work hairthere!! Milena Lardi has you taught you well. I myself had the SMP thickening procedure from her last week. It's already fixed my thinning issues and I still have two treatments to go. The only way you can see I'm thinning now is if you really study my scalp in strong lighting, which nobody does. Milena Lardi is excellent! Fast, efficient and very skilled. The only downside was getting the SMP into scarred areas wasn't much fun, painwise.

Thanks guys!

London,

Glad to hear the SMP is making a difference. Make sure you follow the aftercare instructions as it can have a big effect on the lasting time of the pigment.

Bravo. Do you get your temporary SMP (tricopigmentation) ink and tools from Beauty Medical Italy? Good job and I can see how SMP could save us a lot of fiber consumed to conceal big areas. I love the logo, reminds me of James Bond :-)

Can't Decide looks great! This is the type of SMP I could see wanting down the road.
