Regular Member amy4040 Posted May 7, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted May 7, 2015 Hi Guys Thanks for visiting my thread, ive read lots on here and just got the courage to post pics. Can you please take a look at my pics and give your honest feedback on my procedure (dont worry my feelings wont be hurt if negative). Im from UK, FUE done in India (cheap) Operation - 13 Hours Dr and Assistant Grafts - 3000 (apparently) Questions A) What do you think of my results? B) Do you think I should have a 2nd procedure in December? C) You think my density is correct - she did more at front and then less in middle? D) Where do you think I should get next FUE planted? Continue to build density or spread to bald areas?
BUSA
I'm assuming the last two pics are the before pics? how much donor do u have left? its looks like whoever SHE is spaced the grafts kinda far apart imo. I wud say u need both density and the crown area covered but again its gonna depend on ur donor capacity. it looks like the way Dr. Bhatti performs his hair transplants in the way the grafts are placed. how long ago did u have ur HT? Senior Member Squatch Posted May 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 8, 2015 If I had your head I would have shaved it. You have a good head for shaving! Hard to tell on the grafts.....Your getting a little bit of channeling (scabs drying). I had that and used mineral oil to keep it from drying out. Good luck with your HT though. Regular Member amy4040 Posted May 8, 2015 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 8, 2015 Hi guys thanks got your reply. The aim was to cover half head in this session. Create front hair line thicker and then average spread in half of head. I will go again in December to do another session I did the transplant 7 days ago now How should I approach the next transplant? I have enough for another 2000 gem back of head and also can use 1000 from beard do you think my results will be good? I'm not bothered about full head coverage as long as 2/3 of head is covered to a good standard.
Senior Member Shera Posted May 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 8, 2015 (edited) Hi amy4040, Personally I think its a bit early for you to start considering a follow up procedure so soon after your FUE. Give it 6 months to a year and only then you will get a true picture. Personally I had a similar amount of grafts to you and I am doing OK after 6 months, looking at your before photos, I think your hair is similar to mine so hopefully you will have the similar end result. Good Luck. ___________________________________ Dr Bhatti 3305 FUE 20/10/2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html Edited May 8, 2015 by Shera
Senior Member ModernHair Posted May 9, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 9, 2015 Congrats on your courage to post and share! Please keep us apprised on your progress. I think that given the limited donor supply, the Dr. did a good job spreading them out. 1,792 graft FUE with Dr. James Harris (Denver, Colorado) on April 2-3, 2015 313 graft FUE with Dr. James Harris (Denver, Colorado) on May 3, 2016 to make it perfect!!! Senior Member harin Posted May 9, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 9, 2015 I think given your head shape it will look good. Who was the doctor? and what was the total cost including the stay and transport? My Thread:
Regular Member thewalker10 Posted June 1, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted June 1, 2015 any reason why you're reluctant to share info on your doctor? I'm contemplating on whether to go to India or Turkey for Fue transplant.
Regular Member amy4040 Posted June 1, 2015 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 1, 2015 Hi Surgery - primehairstudio.com Location Mumbai (india), Doctor - Dr Sulochana. Costs - 120,000 rupees (approx) for 3000 grafts Time - 12 - 14 Hours The whole set up/service, look and feel is tailored more for the 'local indian market' so will feel different to what you would expect in UK at Belgravia centre (London). Quality of the transplant id say should be similar - I have no complaints and that comes from someone who loves to complain about anything and everything i buy lol .... Overall ... ?1000 or ?6000+ for a procedure .... what would you rather pay? Its been exactly 31 days since my 3000 graft procedure. I had no real expectations in all honesty and thought to myself, 'its only a thousand pounds ... what ever. If it works it works, if not then its only a grand lost rather that 6 or 7 if id have gone in the UK. Im not really that bothered about hair tbh, Even when i was young i used to cut short every year or so. I would never spend ?20k plus for a HT in the UK and have been more or less bald since 2008. I am more than happy with the progress so far (hope it stays that way) and ive been told theres more to come. Ill be going on holiday again to India so will do another 3000 back of head and 1000 beard hair transplants most likely. India Vs Turkey .. i looked at both these prior to going also due to costs. The Turkish websites - look and feel more professional however i can not comment on their 'quality' as ive not inspected them or had work done. Anyone can pay to get an incredible web site. I assume that they will be more in line with UK/US in their feel due to their European clientele. Then again ... its all about the quality of work and results! Flights - both to Mumbai and Turkey cost around 400 - 500 quid from the UK (if you book in advance) Language - I think this is an important factor to consider for someone, The doctor does understand English to a good standard but obviously got confused and I had to repeat myself a few times during conversation (maybe my Leicester accent). The staff within the clinic do not speak English fluently (but do understand and communicate basics which is sufficient for this type of surgery), I love to ask questions, get re assurance, etc etc just to ensure they were doing their job properly for this reason. If you are not used to this way of communication then India may scare you especially when it comes to medical procedures. However Im sure there are more 'westernised' and UK type clinics but obviously you will be paying more .... As im Indian and have had ops before in India im used to this style of working. Obviously its a risk ,.. but not major one for me. However im sure white people would get scared lol If you are going to consider a clinic - India or Turkey - make sure that there are a few people that speak English to a decent standard or you learn the local language! Clinic Set Up - It had all the things you would expect in a clinic and was clean and tidy as you'd expect. Again it will not be up to UK/US standards but Indian standards eg some parts may look cluttered, wires sticking out the wall, some staff eating there dinner in the reception area, on phones etc ... This would never happen in the UK! Customer Service - Raghav is the customer service rep and he answered 100% every question I had prior, during and after the surgery via whatsapp/Viber. Dr Sulochana also took time to speak to her. Its was really good for Indian standards. This is needed because im sure you will be scared/have millions of questions! There are lots of clinics in India and the prices for 3000 grafts will vary. I had quotes for 600 quid to 3000 quid, my opinion is that you wont know what you got until you see the results as everyone talks positivly. There are lots of clinics who are more interested in gettin your money than delivering results, The reason why I chose Prime was due to Raghav the customer service rep. He answered all questions no matter how stupid, and still to this day answer them lol Day 31 - im happy with my hairline and results .... I will 100% be going back to these guys for my 2nd session (December). If anyone wants to come let me know ...

I like how you try to take jabs at Dr. Bhatti at any opportunity. Dr. Bhatti's work looks better than this and I can tell you that the grafts that Dr. Bhatti put in my hairline are denser than that of a coalition doctor that put FUT grafts there before that hardly grew. So much for FUT having a better survival rate. It's obvious you have some sorta of axe to grind for whatever reason.
Regular Member amy4040 Posted June 1, 2015 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 1, 2015 Hi, I shall upload some pics later on ... btw my profile pic - is my before pic ... change it soon! I have only put in 3000 grafts and covered 3/4 of my head. What are your thoughts ... does this approach sound strange, weird, odd ... would love some comments feel free to criticize if need be! My aim is to have the first 3/4 of my head looking real good and especially thickening the front hair line - in total 5000 grafts (another 2000 at the end of the year). Im not really concerned with the crown/back as much so will distribute 2000 around the crown/back of the head (1000 beard hair and 1000 fair from back of the head). The hairstyle which i wish to get is one which is grade 3 on top, 0.5 on the side, blended/faded with a straight square hair line (similar to how the average black man has it in the UK) Like my dad, grandad and uncles, I will be generically a Norwood 6/7 so got to think realistically as i have limited donar hair. I do not wish to grow my hair long and comb/spike/style it as i think it will look stupid/thinning if not dense. What do you think?

Rohit1310
Guys, My Sincere Apologies for Hijacking this Thread(In a Way). It seems I don't have the necessary access to post or start a new thread. I may be going for an HT with ARHT Global(ADHI India). Could anyone give feedback on how effective they are as a clinic or recount any prior experiences on the same. The same would help me a lot. Feel free to reply on this thread or personally mail me at (email removed for privacy reasons - members can contact you via the PM feature of this community). Any unbiased neutral views about the clinic are welcome. Keep the suggestions pouring. I may need to take a call in the next 3-4 days. Regards, Rohit1310 Note from Moderator: Anyone and everyone can create a new thread. All you have to do is go to the main forum at www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve, click on a forum category, and then click on the blue "New Thread" button towards the top left hand corner of the screen above the forum topics. I hope this helps.
