  1. Any talk of finasteride speeding up growth after HT is anecdotal. Maybe reduce your dosage to using fin 3 times or 4 times a week. Cutting the dosage in half could still prevent future hair loss and potentially get rid of your side effects after a while.
  2. As someone with a degree in exercise science I can tell you that non of that stuff works and if it has plant sterols it can actually hurt your body's natural testosterone levels over time. If you want to increase natural testosterone read this entire page and try the H.I.I.T. cardio that Dr. Mercola does. Ironically he has MPB lol. Boosting HGH and Testosterone
  3. Hey there Mr. Youkhanna everyone is giving you the right advice. Take what you read online about Finasteride (name brand Propecia) with a grain of salt. A huge percentage of men here in the US claim to have some sexual dysfunction when they're over 40 so most likely it's not Propecia that caused it for most of them. I've taken Finasteride for years and it's been a life saver. I strongly advice talking to your doctor about it. Btw I'm pretty sure we're the same Ethnicity
  4. Well the recent violence was almost 5 hour drive from Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. Not sure if that gives you any peace of mind but safety is never fully guaranteed anywhere I suppose.
  5. You haven't said which steroids you planned on taking. That makes a big difference. 2 months post op is not the time to do this. Even if it only damaged 5% of your grafts is it worth it? If you do decide to do the roids at some point I hope you've researched proper ways to get off of them. You'll be shutting down your system for 10 weeks and without proper recovery you'll crash and you'll hate life for a long time.
  6. Congrats on your results so far. 5 months is nothing and you could more than double the growth you have in another 5-9 months. I wouldn't jump the gun worrying about a 2nd procedure yet. If you're not taking finasteride you should talk to a Dr. about it as it will tremendously help your final result. Even taking it every other day works great for many who are concerned about side effects. As far as budget clinics there are several in Turkey where the Doc does some or even half the work themselves. I know this for a fact. I don't want to give recommendations but look around and you'll find them. Your progress looks great so far. Keep us updated.
  7. I've seen some phenomenal work by Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles. He maybe someone you'd want to research.
  8. I read your entire post. I wish you could speak with my close friend who's Dr. (one of the best in the US) told him he'd probably only need 1 FUT. Fast forward 10yrs and 4 FUT scars later..... I'm not a Doctor and I've only personally know 14 guys who've had HT's. You may not regret anything next year, or in 5 yrs or 10 yrs but 10 of the 14 guys I know had FUT. 9 of them regret it. I only know what I see. Good luck with your decision. I was really only trying to be helpful.
  9. The last 2 posts above yours already gave you the answers you wanted. For FUT procedure- Dr.Radha for FUE- Dr.Bhatti. They're both in India. Contact them for pricing.
  10. I'm surprised the 6 month results are as decent as they are. You're lucky. It was a small number of grafts so you've got lots of grafts left to work with. The main thing is to use a different doctor next time. I had nose surgery to correct my breathing and over time my breathing got worse. The Dr. said he'd do it again but I paid to go to someone else. Best thing I ever did. He who breaks it can't fix it. You should reveal the Dr.'s name so others can avoid him. You'd be helping people.
  11. I hope your doctor did a full panel of blood work. Did he test your DHT levels, your thyroid and your other hormone levels? Consider Finasteride with your Dr. Maybe when you're 18 you can start that. Ask your doctor about taking it every other day to possibly help avoid side effects.
  12. If you only need a small number of grafts and you only have loss in the hairline I strongly suggest you consider Fue for a 1st procedure. Dr's who perform both procedures (and are ethical) will tell you the same thing. I'm not a pro but I've done years of research and have seen both procedures on several friends and acquaintances. You can always do an FUT later or a tiny 2nd FUE procedure to get more hairline density if you aren't satisfied. You can't go back in time and reverse the FUT scar. Just my 2 cents.
  13. I might expect these type of results with 5,000 grafts after 9 months. Your results are some of the best I've seen on any forum. Congrats. You must be thrilled.
  14. milanello, can you post updated pics? I've seen some guys who's hair improved 25-30% from month 9 to month 15.
  15. Your transplanted hairs may not shed. I've read from several transplant surgeons that this might actually be a good thing. You may have even better results if you don't shed. You certainly shouldn't judge your future results because of that. Besides like someone else said it's a small number of grafts anyway.
  16. Congrats on your awesome Journey cloudy. I'll be going to Turkey myself soon. Can you tell me which clinic you did your procedure at? I didn't see it in your first post. Maybe I missed it. I think Dr. Demirsoy works at a couple of different locations.
  17. Congrats Danyb. Please post updated pics. Hopefully you got a haircut
