Before and after Female Scalp Micropigmentation by Dr. William Rassman of NHI

This patient is getting married soon and wanted her hair to look thicker quickly for her upcoming June wedding date. She was very concerned about not looking her best and wore her hair up (in a sort of bun) every time she went out to cover her thinning scalp. She could not imagine wearing her hair up in a bun for her wedding, and her husband-to-be, preferred her to let her hair down. She came to us to have Scalp MicroPigmentation (SMP) done, and she was then able to take her hair out of the bun and walk around with the hairstyle of her choosing.

Dr. Rassman,

While the above comments may be a little harsh, I do happen to share their concerns about misleading photos. The only images that are remotely similar are the first before/after. The last one shows the woman's hair up over the area that was most likely pigmented.

As you know, SMP is a viable procedure for a small niche of hair loss sufferers. Thus, I strongly encourage you to present better photos that accurately represent your SMP procedure and results.

Best wishes,

Bill

When clinics do post before/after pictures, we are treated to this.

This industry, the SMP industry, is starting to remind me of the HT industry of the late 80's and early 90's. Clearly it is in its "learning curve' state, where the deceiving photos being used as marketing are pretty much the norm these days.

Navigating SMP clinics and the results provided by them is a tricky business, and people should be very wary of claims made online. I certainly hope this clinic does better next time in presenting photographs of its clients.

These are some of the best SMP pics we have ever seen IMO.

No color contrast issues

No dot size, dot spacing , depth problems

Not a problem in sight

Faultless to a fault

Brilliant

Yea, Photoshop, lighting, Misleading angles really do wonders dont they? I still don't think those photos look very good anyway. The ONLY possible way to see the "brilliance" or fakeness of these peoples work is to see in person. Pics are Misleading!
