Senior Member shane13 Posted March 2, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 2, 2013 How come your middle scalp grafts are bit slow to grow? Also reading your thread, you had from your donor 1755 and in march 650, thats total of 2405 and you mentioned that you only have about 1000 more grafts left in your donor area, so the total amount of grafts available from your donor area is 3405. I thought on average everyone has at least 5-6000 grafts in the donor area??? 1) The 650 grafts were planted 4 yrs back on the hairline 2) The beard grafts from my last procedure were focused on the hairline again Maybe because of these reasons there is a visible difference between the 2 areas. Looking at my donor area, I was informed by Dr. Bhatti that I might have around 1000 grafts left. Maybe my first procedure reulted in loss of grafts and then the less dense donor area is another reason. Regular Member HairlessHero Posted March 24, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted March 24, 2013 Shane13, there could be shock loss too in the middle area. Did you talk to Dr. Bhatti about that area recently? Also, are you taking Finesteride? Or, using Minox?

Did you talk to Dr. Bhatti about that area recently? Also, are you taking Finesteride? Or, using Minox? Yes I did, he asked me to hold steady till 5 months..... I also had my first procedure around the hairline and that can also be the cause of the mid-scalp seeming relatively slow to grow as the front already has more mature hair already..... I am on Fin, Biotin and Minox foam as adviced by Dr. Bhatti. > March '09 - Dissatisfactory 650 FUE > December '12 - 2151 FUE with Dr. Bhatti (http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/168700-2151-fue-grafts-dr-tejinder-bhatti-darling-buds-%96-23rd-dec-2012-a.html) > September '13 - 1720 FUE with Dr. Bhatti (http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/172163-hair-transplant-2-dr-bhatti-1720-fue-sep-13-a.html)

Hey bro, you're lucky to be in Chandigarh. Dr. Bhatti would've moved to his new facility in sec-17 now. Why don't you start your thread and share your exp wit everyone. I am about to hit the 6 month mark and will be posting pictures over the weekend. I am concerned about my mid-scalp wherein I don't see significant growth . Senior Member JohnnyDrama Posted June 21, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted June 21, 2013 Mid scalp is pretty notorious for having slower growth times than other areas Shane, so I certainly wouldn't panic yet. It's quite common that things take better shape there around the 8-9 month mark. I'm going to be getting a very similar number of grafts as yourself, and my midscalp is where most of them will be going. What meds are you taking? Any supplements? 2,200 FUE + PRP with Dr Bisanga - BHR Clinic, 22-23 August 2013 - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171950-my-fue-2-200-prp-dr-bisanga-bhr-clinic.html Current Regimen: - Rogaine 5% Foam 2x daily - Jasons Restorative Biotin Shampoo 2x daily / Nizoral 2% 2x weekly - Nettle Root 500mg, MSM 1500mg, Biotin 5mg, Multi Vit, Omega
