  1. Thanks mikeey! Yes I did use the J&J hair oil for a few months and did not notice any graft loss. I am hearing this for the first time.
  2. Thank you guys! @Blake - Any suggestions interms of haircut etc. specially becoz of the thinning mid-scalp? @QM - I took it for a few months after my 1st procedure and had sides. This $hit is not worth it even if it had given you back a full head of hair!
  3. 12 Months result here: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/176753-1-year-results-%7C-dr-bhatti-%7C-1720-fue.html
  4. So here’s the big 12 months update! I will try and keep it short & crisp. RESULT I am guessing the overall growth must be near complete now. The frontal looks good to me and is a huge improvement over where I was before my 1st procedure . I was looking at my FB pics and was startled at where I would have been without the transplants. The crown patch has also grown decently well but stands out due to further loss in the crown area. The curly/erect hair that are seen are primarily beard hair from the 1st procedure with Dr. Bhatti. The grafts in the mid-scalp region that did not grow after the first procedure did grow after they were re-done. I have tried to include many pictures from indoors & outdoors for a complete assessment. Going Forward The non-transplanted area has thinned further due to progressive hair fall. Out of personal choice I have decided not to use finastride, maybe had I used it, the hairloss would’ve been much lesser. Although, I still won’t be using it. Any suggestions interms of haircut/styling is welcome as the mid-scalp + crown are not full and I also do not see myself getting another procedure done. Maybe a 2-3 grade buzz cut is the best option but if possible I’d like to keep my hair longer. Cheers! P.S. - My progress over 11 months is documented here: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/172163-hair-transplant-2-dr-bhatti-1720-fue-sep-13-a.html
  5. I have used around 4500 grafts till date so really not sure if there is much left. Moreover, I really want to take a break now as from my experience a transplant is both financially and emotionally taxing. So no plans as of now..... but one can never be sure about the future specially with the never ending desire to have a full head of hair
  6. densedream - Best of luck for your procedure. let me know if I can help with your travel in any way jayukdht - Feedback is good and anyways the change was gradual so easily acceptable
  7. Please feel free to msg me through the forum Inbox to discuss.
  8. Thanks for your kind words. I doubt whether the remaining grafts will be able to cover up the entire thinning area, so not sure of another procedure. Concealers, I would avoid I guess, that's why I was thinking of a permanent buzz cut to conceal thinning.
  9. Hey, no I haven't ever used a volumizer as I wanted to treat my hair as non-artificially as possible. My crown had approx. 700 grafts and mid-scalp around 1000.
  10. Hello! So here are my 10 month update pics after my transplant with Dr. Bhatti [The last pic is pre-op]. Do note that all the pictures are under direct flash. - Things look good from the front and I can probably pass off as a normal head of hair with a high hairline (that I always had) - The non-transplanted area (mid-scalp to crown) had further thinned. I have not been on Fin out of personal choice, maybe it would have helped retain existing hair. - I am thinking of a grade 2/3 buzz cut wherein the hairline is clearly visible to frame the face and the thinning least visible. All feedback and suggestions are welcome.
  11. Sure. I will do that bro whenever I get a buzz cut done. Looks quite likely in the near future I just hope that the new hairline solidly frames the face in a buzz cut.
  12. Yes I will. As mentioned earlier, my mid scalp has been continuously thinning but the front looks ok I am sure it would have been a pleasure to meet Dr.Bhatti, he's a good doc with an agreeable personality.
  13. Hi shaannsn, I was not on the forum for sometime. As you would have seen I have been updating my monthly pics since the surgery. The donor area seems to be fine and normal even when I cut my hair short. I have taken the attached pictures a few minutes back for your perusal. Please note, I am approx. 9.5 months post-op. Let me know incase of further queries.
  14. I don't have any plans to go for another FUE procedure in the future (I've already had three ). Although, I might be left with 600-800 grafts at least I guess. Thus trying to find the perfect haircut so that I can pass off whatever i have as a 'normal' head of hair. I haven't shared my latest progress with Dr. Bhatti as yet.
  15. I am genuinely surprised as to why there is no feedback or response to people who dedicatedly post and share their experiences on the forum. On the other hand, people keep running after absconding members requesting for an update who never return to give back to the forum. Strange
  16. Cut my hair short. I guess this is the length I'd like to keep going forward for various reasons: 1) Hair looks clean and not messy 2) The grey hair are not as much visible 3) Longer hair somehow show more empty patches of scalp
  17. The front looks decent after 8 months but the non-transaplanted area (mid scalp etc.) has definitely thinned. All pics are with bright DSLR flash light. I believe I might have to go for a grade # 2/3 buzz cut in the future. Any suggestions & feedback is appreciated. P.S. - I have not ben taking FIN and do not intend to use it
  18. Yes, definitely. There is no issue at all.
  19. Dude you look so different already! Congratulations. This will only get better by the day
