Senior Member chrisdav Posted March 29, 2012 Senior Member Posted March 29, 2012 (edited) That strip scar was aweful he had. I understand people being put off strip when they see scarring like that, but a good surgeons work will not generate that. Nice progress. Edited March 29, 2012 by chrisdav 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.
Senior Member Sean Posted March 29, 2012 Senior Member Posted March 29, 2012 This is a great result. Can't even tell there was a scar. 100% fixed. I see that 1500 grafts were used for the front including the scar. How many grafts were placed in the recipient zone? At only 7 months, this is amazing.
Senior Member Davis91 Posted March 30, 2012 Senior Member Posted March 30, 2012 Dr. Umar is clearly doing some very interesting work and may be leading the field as far as developing working knowledge of repair cases. This case is a good example. While not a 1:1 comparison on haircut from the original photo, the improvement is there. Abbie, how come Dr. Umar's patient photos always show a white background at first and then a green background in the after? Unless he is planning some CGI work (he is near Hollywood after all), would it not be better to have a consistent background to compare?
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted March 30, 2012 Senior Member Posted March 30, 2012 Dr. Umar, This is a very impressive transformation. It's even more impressive given the fact that it is not only a repair but only consisted of 1500 grafts. You've given him his life back!
