This is for all you guys who think your HT has failed at 5 months post-op. The first 3 pics are at 5 months post, the next two are at 8 months (today). I also feel more stubble now than I did for the first 7 months.

Thanks for the compliments fellas.

@orlhair: It is amazing, we have seen so many cases recently where forum members basically felt their HT was a failure at 5-6 months. And other members concurred it was not looking so good. Viewing my pics I would have felt the same. But having been through this before I know it's a matter of being patient, trusting the process, and trusting in the doctor you chose. That's why it is so important to go with a top doctor who shows tons of great results. It is also why this forum is so vital.

@Sean: Dr. Feller really did an amazing job, especially considering I was a repair patient. He has also been one of the most accessible doctors I have ever had.

@Capelli: I'm documenting this HT monthly so no worries.

Patience is the key with hair surgery and now at 8 months, will only get better :)

2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK.

Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.

Nice 1 mate really happy for you. Looks a lot like you're a late bloomer i'm hoping for the same this month and the fact you have more stubble now than ever is very interesting.

Did you have any grafts in the crown this time and if so is a lot slower than the top and front like mine is?

Update I'm now on 12200 Grafts, hair loss has been a thing of my past for years. Also I don't use minoxidil anymore I lost no hair coming off it. Reduced propecia to 1mg every other day.

My surgeons were

Dr Hasson x 4,

Dr Wong x 2

Norton x1

I started losing my hair at 19 in 1999

I started using propecia and minoxidil in 2000

Had 7 hair transplants over 12200 grafts by way of strip but

700 were Fue From Norton in uk

Bonker, Yes we did address the crown (see pics). I think growth rate has been about the same as the front but I believe because of the size and curvature the crown takes a bit longer to see the results.

Yes maybe, I was thinking that blood supply might be a bit slower in everyones crown or something like that!

Bonker, Yes, I have read that about blood supply being a possible factor.
