Lose Scalp

I met an italian patient a couple of days before surgery. This was before he had been to the clinic and wanted to know my opinion. He was very concerned because he didnt do any scalp exercices and felt that he may be too tight to achieve his goal of 4000 grafts. He was planning on having two surgeries of around 7000-8000 grafts in total if possible. As soon as I met him I was in shock . Take a look and tell me do you think he has to do any scalp exercises? He had never done any before this video.

He ended up with 7822 grafts this was considering that he still had alot more flexiblity. If Dr. Hasson would have taken all that he could he would have ended up with around 10,000 in my opinion. His strip was 2-2.5 CM and a length of 34, he had very dense donor.

Whattttttttttttt, he does not need any scalp exercises. Lucky guy, he is blessed with an elastic scalp. I've never seen that. I know some rare medical conditions make the skin elastic, but not sure if that is the case here. Looks like a really good result waiting to happen. Seems like a great candidate for strip!

I forgot to mention he wore a wig for 8 years. This could be one of the reasons why he was so elastic.

Wow he must be part Shar Pei. He is the kind of patient who would do well with a scalp reduction (although I don't like that procedure). Dense donor, large donor area, and all the elasticity in the world.

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D

Wow, that's one loose scalp. I would be a bit concerned about scar stretching with that kind of laxity, though. Did the docs mention if there was an increased possibility of that happening?
