Just want to say I'm planning a procedure with Dr Konior in the near future and I have sent him probably 15 emails. He has returned every one of them promptly and answered all my questions. His professionalism is excellent !!

You made a very wise decision in Dr. Konior. Did he tell you his current pricing scale?

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D

I spoke with Tom about the pricing. After a certain amount of grafts it goes down. In my case, I may have to have a couple of old grafts excised and split which will cost more, but from the patient results and the one on one he has already given me it's an easy decision. I'm hoping I can have one major session and be done!!

I agree, Dr Konior....has what you look for in a transplant physician. High quality, consistent results, and doing what is appropiate for the patient.

Dr Shapiro and Dr Konior have strong mutual respect for each other.

It comforting when you know that the doctor you've chosen will guide you though all this and as long as he is in your corner you will be well cared for.

Patient Educator, Shapiro Medical. Going on 20years with Dr Ron Shapiro......not a regular poster, I leave that to Janna

I see that bthis was a year old thread that was bumped up...

NewHairPlease I see that you ultimately ended up going with Dr. Rahal after initially being very pleased with your correspondence with Dr. Konior. Did you just "click" better with Rahal? Any pics yet of your progress??

I don't know who you are, but you obviously have NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!! Yes, I am shouting!!! I posted this thread over 7 months ago!! I went on to have a procedure with Dr Rahal, whom I chose, you see thats what patients should do....several consults and then choose a surgeon!! My post was true about Dr Konior...he has turned in to what I consider a friend!! He still sends me emails checking on my surgery and congratulating me on my procedure with Dr Rahal...as for advertisement, DR KONIOR DOES NOT NEED ANY!!! HIS WORK SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!!

Thank you and goodnight!

Marcushair,

You're a brand new poster and a proclaimed patient of Dr. Panine's. While Dr. Panine is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network for doing quality hair transplantation, perhaps you're not aware that Dr. Konior has a long history and outstanding reputation for performing world renowned results. This is why long-time, upstanding member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. You can find dozens of examples of Dr. Konior's impressive results by simply using the "find" feature.

I highly recommend you stick to sharing your own personal experience with Dr. Panine instead of attempting to discredit another world renowned surgeon's excellent reputation.

First, I want to apologize to everyone for the thoughtless comments I made on this site. It was not my intention to offend anyone, nor discredit Dr. Konior‘s prominent work. I have contacted Dr. Konior and expressed my apologies. marcushair

I'm very new to this site. I have been on other sites. I just had a consultation with Dr. Konior and am strongly considering a HT with him. I see you originally were going with him and then switched...can I ask why? Let me know if this is something you'd like to discuss via direct message...and if so, how to do it on this site as I cannot figure it out...thanks!
