Senior Member RCWest Posted October 19, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted October 19, 2010 I can't believe there is over 5400 grafts there! They must have transplanted way on back into the native hairs also. Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? Did they really throw 5400 in there? it's not bad at all however he basically blew his load on this procedure... at best he might have another 3k or so in his donor area, and perhaps another 2 k from beard... depending on how aggressive his hairloss become it might look weird down the line. However if he feels comfortable now then job well done First transplant with karamikian 6/05, less than 1000 to my hairline, result was mediocre at best. 2nd HT with Feller 2/08, 3000+ to my front third. Senior Member Julius Posted October 20, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 20, 2010 Am I the only one who can clearly see contrast between transplanted hair and native? I can see no strip scar
Regular Member Davis Posted October 20, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted October 20, 2010 There is a slight contrast, however considering we are all trained to pinpoint this kind of stuff it's still good. The average person would not even give this a second thought First transplant with karamikian 6/05, less than 1000 to my hairline, result was mediocre at best. 2nd HT with Feller 2/08, 3000+ to my front third. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted October 20, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted October 20, 2010 Julius, I'm curious to discover how many months prior this patient underwent hair transplantation. The description says he's had multiple procedures over the course of 5 years, but doesn't explain how many post-operative months have passed between his last procedure and these photographs. The reason I say this is because the scalp still looks a bit red, meaning it may not be too long after the procedure (5-6 months) and he could still have time to grow and mature. This may also explain the slight differentiation between the native and transplanted hair. Altogether, I like this result. The transformation is pretty impressive and I think it looks pretty natural all around! Senior Member Mercury Posted October 20, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted October 20, 2010 Interesting? The density looks good, but I don't like the accentuated point at the center of the hairline. too much point. Should be smoother or not as much. Just my opinion. Life is like a game of cards. The hand that is dealth you represents determinism; the way you play it is free will. Senior Member Julius Posted October 21, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 21, 2010 Future_HT_Doc I agree it is red and could be because it is just a few months post op Mid thirties and a Norwood Class 3 having five sessions totaling 5,431 follicular unit grafts He is a musician and it is said that the approach was more aggressive than the norm I am still not sure if fue or fut was used?
