Senior Member phil mascallpen Posted December 1, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 1, 2009 After one bad Bosley HT 20 odd years ago I was never going to do it again unless HTs finally looked very close to natural. I researched for years, had a lot of consultations and met many patients in person. Finally I settled on Dr. Hasson. Today is day 15 and I just had those damn staples removed and if you've gone through it you know it is one hell of a sweet feeling. Senior Member thanatopsis_awry Posted December 1, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 1, 2009 Well done, m8! That is a bodacious amount of grafts and I fully expect your result to more than satisfy you in both coverage, density, and naturallness -- and make all of us green with envy. ----------- *A Follicles Dying Wish To Clinics* 1 top-down, 1 portrait, 1 side-shot, 1 hairline....4 photos. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted December 2, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 2, 2009 Phil, Congrats man. The staples out is certainly a sweet thing. Makes you appreciate life in a whole new way. And when the hair grows in, it'll be even better. Looks like the fantastic work we all expect from H&W. Senior Member phil mascallpen Posted January 7, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 7, 2010 Hey HMO, Middle of next week I'll be posting some 5 week and 8 week pics.
Senior Member phil mascallpen Posted January 13, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 13, 2010 My 5 week and 8 week photos are up. If you click on an individual photo it will expand for a better view. http://philmascallpen.blogspot.com/ I still have a noticeable difference in color in the recipient area and hope this goes away soon as I'll be losing the ability to wear a hat at work in about 2 months. (In the photos the difference appears less) I apologize for not posting donor scar photos and will do that next time. The summary so far is the scar got worse since the last pic of it and then got better. It was very pink and I had some shock loss on the right side. It seems to be slowly getting better which is about what I expected. The recipient area has a few hundred grafts that never fell out. You will also notice the old plugs and some native hair that never fell out and that is what you mostly see in the recipient area. If you look closely you can see a few new hairs breaking through. As for numbness it is mostly gone except for about a 3 inch square area above my right ear. Man I can't wait for this to grow in!
