Senior Member orangehair Posted June 11, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted June 11, 2010 This patient from the Boston area in his early 50's has experienced gradual hair loss since his 30's. He's been on Propecia for 3 years and has seen stabilization. His treatment goal was to have fuller hair in the frontal region. Crown thinning not as much of a priority. In his front, the hair loss was uneven and a persistent, isolated forelock was developing. Dr. True's focus with was his hairline and have uniform density around the forelock. Of the 1442 grafts, 589 are singles, 804 doubles, and 49 threes. A total of 2,344 hairs were transplanted. Donor density: 85 fus/cm2 Donor strip: 18cm x 1cm Trichophytic closure VP Patient & Media Relations for The Hair Loss Doctors by Robert J. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted June 12, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted June 12, 2010 orangehair, I'm really impressed by this patient's results! Good to hear that Propecia has stabilized his hair loss. I think he made a great decision to concentrate on his frontal third. I bet he looks 10 years younger now! Senior Member orangehair Posted June 28, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 28, 2010 thank for the comment Robin - Dr. True as well as the patient was very pleased with the change - since the procedure there has been some progression centrally - this may be addressed with another step but overall hes in good shape with just the one treatment VP Patient & Media Relations for The Hair Loss Doctors by Robert J. Senior Member orangehair Posted March 18, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 18, 2011 This patient is having a second HT with Dr. True - with the second step additional density will be added behind the hairline and selectively into the top/crown...likely about 1300 - 1500 grafts. I wanted to post some additonal pictures of the initial result as they are better quality and most recent. VP Patient & Media Relations for The Hair Loss Doctors by Robert J.
