I didn't realize that you all would like the quasi-styled wet pictures. As you all can tell I am having a little issue in the styling department. I haven't been to a true hair stylist since...well, I cannot recall. So, I think it may be time to go in to a place that charges me money for a hair cut--I have been cutting my own since college. What do I ask?? How should I style it? What should I use (in terms of product) in my hair? All new to me. I just need to find a time to get in to a stylist. Eman, go to any good hair salon (don't go to a barber shop ) Walk in and look at fairly younger hair dresser or a person who's hair is styled nice, those are the people who can do wonders for you. Tell them to cut your hair with scissors not just clippers and you want something modern (messy/spiky) look, you will love your new look I am sure of it Your hair length at this point is PERFECT for that. Find a pic of a style you want. Take pic to stylist. Personally I like the spikey/messy look as well; which you pull off very well in that wet pic. I attached a pic of a really cool version of it. I would have the stylist TEXTURIZE your hair (i.e. the ends are cut at different lengths so it achieves this spikey/messy style) and buy a pliable wax/putty to style it with...that is, IF you like this style. Senior Member M&M Posted May 27, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 27, 2009 Eman, Congratulations on such amazing results after just 8 months. Just think, you still have another 4+ months of growth ahead of you, which should lead to you being able to try a variety of hairstyles that you find best suit you and are easy to maintain. The coverage and placement looks great and very natural! Thanks for the continued thorough updates. Regular Member Mane Attraction Posted May 28, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted May 28, 2009 Eman, I don't think anybody has to tell you that this is a stellar result, but what the hell, I'll add to the chorus here and echo those sentiments anyway. Fantastic results that just keep getting better month by month! I bet you're doing more reflection-gazing these days than even Narcissus himself! Your temples also seem to be filling in very well and adapting to the characteristics of the other hair in that area, judging by what can be seen in the photos. Senior Member pushing 40 Posted May 28, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 28, 2009 Damn, that is a really dramatic difference! You must be THRILLED! As far as the stylist goes, you'll probably have to hit a few haircuts before you decide on a stylist you like, trust, and are comfy with. That is what happened with me anyway; went through a couple I would never go back to. I also specifically explained the HT deal so they would know where I was coming from and be aware of any issues though none were encountered. I was hoping I'd end up with one of those "hottie" stylists but the one I liked the most is not. Oh well, she's good at what she does and that is what's important! Regular Member HTinthefuture Posted May 28, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted May 28, 2009 those are the pics I was hoping for and make me more sure about taking the plunge someday with rahal. That looks amazing, and I would never guess you had anything done. completely natural looking. you must be really happy. Senior Member HairIsThere Posted June 18, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted June 18, 2009 I gotta say that in terms of where you started and where you ended up after the HT this is single handedly the most impressive results I have seen. Congrats man.... If I was Rahal, these pics would have just promoted you to the poster boy of hair restoration at my clinic....and I gotta admit, I have extreme follicular envy of that spiked wet hair!! The last time I had my hair spiked like that I think I was 15....being able to go swimming again I'm sure is a thrill. I can't even remember the last time I went swimming and I'm only 22 Anyways, I can only hope my outcome is as sick nasty as yours man! Congrats again!! - 1 HT ~ 3000 grafts - Regimen: Propecia 1X daily
Senior Member FacelessMan Posted June 19, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted June 19, 2009 Eman -- I'll add to the long list of congratulations; it looks fantastic. Props for taking excellent *and* realistic photos; seeing the results in sunlight, and wet after a shower definitely show how completely natural your hair looks. It's amazing to me, even after several years on this site, that this kind of surgical precision is even possible. You'll be further amazed at the added thickness you'll see in the next several months, not to mention the next year. I saw a big difference after the 8-month mark. Senior Member Eman Posted June 19, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 19, 2009 Hey guys, Being able to swim and not worry about it an iota is awesome!! I dry it after swimming laps with no product and it is not a worry and it looks good. Being a poster guy for Rahal would be fun and I would love to do that!! That has been my goal all along. To give honest pics and comments to help everyone here. I want everyone to know the ups and downs, the good and bad before jumping into the HT club. I am looking forward to the next couple of months for even more density. My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out...

Regular Member SharpTooth Posted June 22, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted June 22, 2009 Hey Eman, I remember first reading your posts when you had the HT. I wondered how it'd turn out --- it's actually better than i guessed! If you're like me, you kind of questioned, "What the crap am i doing??" as the doc started to cut into the donor area. ha But it really looks great. Also, honestly, I can't see the dark line you talk about that sort of shows your scar. So for what it's worth, I can't see any sign of your scar. highforehead
My pictures (with summer, my hair should begin to lighten up): right after the shower, with and without a flash, and outdoors...ENJOY! hi Eman, my name is Anna. I got your name from Ripoff report where you had replied to an unsatisfied client of Dr.Rahal 3/16/09. I was wondering if you can tell me how much did your 4278 grafts cost$, and if you are living in USA, why did you decide to come to Ontario Canada to get HT done? I am a female, I have lots of hair, BUT my hairline is quite high and makes my forehead look big, and my face look long. Also, I hardly have any eyebrow hair. I'm looking for a (obviously) reliable reputable surgeon to give me a lower hairline, and eyebrows. If you don't mind me asking you some questions: -why did you go for the strip and not the FUE? -did you research Dr.Rahal's work of previous clients, and his technicians specific work, before you decided on this doctor? Any other info is greatly appreciated. thank you. Anna.
