Senior Member NervousNelly Posted November 11, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 11, 2007 These are 3 month photos taken with a flash under bright light. Ofcourse at this stage there is very little growth other than the grafts that were kept. There is evidence of hairs just starting to grow. NN Dr.Cole,1989. ??graftcount Dr. Ron Shapiro. Senior Member Janna Posted November 12, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 12, 2007 Hey NN, The redness in the donor scar line will diminish greatly in the coming months. I know it's hard waiting for the final results, but I know you'll be happy with it. I guess you know who to complain to if you're not. Thanks for posting new pics. It's always nice to follow along. Senior Member NervousNelly Posted November 17, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 17, 2007 Hey guys--Thanks for all the kind words. I really am very pleased so far. It is unbelievable that at the 3 month mark I already notice a pretty remarkable change and the old work is camouflaged. It almost seems like I am already starting to have slightly different styling options. This is way too cool. The scar is obviously still red but Dr. Ron pointed out that with the Tricho sometimes the hairs growing thru keep the area aggravated. That would make sense as you can definitely see hair growing thru it. Also I play a variety of sports and likely the goalie mask in hockey or the inversion table is not exactly kind to the scar. I will likely post again at the 6 month mark at minimum and I am sure that there will be some pretty drastic changes. Take care, NN NN Dr.Cole,1989. ??graftcount Dr. Ron Shapiro. Senior Member NervousNelly Posted February 7, 2008 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 7, 2008 Sadhairloss, Yes I am about due to post some new photos. In approx. a week I will hit the 6 month mark. I'll try to get my wife to post a few better photos. I am curious what you guys have to say about things. I personally believe that things are better but not drastically. I would like to know what the consensus is. NN Dr.Cole,1989. ??graftcount Dr. Ron Shapiro. Senior Member Fallenstar Posted February 12, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted February 12, 2008 NervousNelly, i would say its not the pictures that count, but meeting some friends & family after 6 months that will be the telling point.
