  1. Dr Humayun Mohmand, You have just proved your desire to improve your standards and become one of the best surgeons if not already. We should all praise his efforts and attitude. He has openly taken criticism and has decided to act upon it as well. Good work!
  2. NN, I had a full head of hair for 1 month. This is latest on scar
  3. I feel dr. Mohmand does phenomenal work and should not be suspended. I almost feel this is going to be injustice.
  4. Thank you all for the well wishes. I will keep you posted by putting up pictures on monthly basis. goodgrowing to everyone!
  5. Hi all, Following is the update at 10 weeks. http://picasaweb.google.com/sadhairloss/10Weeks I am noticing small sprouts sporadically. Some hair never fell and some look new. But again, I am still all confused if they are existing ones or what. Regardless, you all the best judges. Let me know what you think. Also, you can view my previous pics in other albums here > http://picasaweb.google.com/sadhairloss/ Thanks and let me know what you think! ------------------------- 3225 grafts with Dr. Shapiro 7222 hairs in total Pictures are available here: http://picasaweb.google.com/sadhairloss/PreOpsAnd1DayPostOp http://picasaweb.google.com/sadhairloss/Day2
  6. There is no similarity between Indians and Pakistanis.
  7. haha Thanks nobuzz4me, you are so right, I do look better in short hair. I didn't cut hair since I wanted to see how good my donor look all grown out and plus I was hesitant on how much i need to have in the back in order to cover the strip. Yes, I am on Proscar and Minox trying to hold on to what I have. I think I did get dissolvable stitched and both sutures and a couple staples which I had to have removed. It wasn't painful though. Its the healing in the back that is a little painful these days. Thanks for the wishes and I hope I see results soon
  8. Thanks Janna Followed your advice and I made sure all the scabs were out by the 2 week mark. Chucky, thanks! The Scar looks pretty awesome, I mean its hard to find. It feels a little soar still. I dont sleep on my back still since I don't wanna push it... Its healing up and i feel some scabs in there which seem to be taking a little longer. Its very hard to detect it though since I had tricho and the hair seems to be growing around it already.
  9. Hi guys, Just added my 15 day pics. Let me know what you think. http://picasaweb.google.com/sadhairloss/Day15 Thanks,
  10. Thank you guys.. can't wait to be a happy man soon
  11. Hi all, As planned, I had my HT done with Dr. Shapiro on 1/15/2007. It was a wonderful experience and I must say Janna, Dr. Shapiro and Matt did a great job at answering all my questions and accomodating my desires in regards to graft count. Following are further details on graft count/hairs. Also, I am attaching 2 links below with my pics so please feel free to comment. For some reason I couldn't get to upload the pictures on this site. One thing to note. I had several native hairs which were shaved down before surgery in order have an open field to plant the new grafts. Strip: 7.5 cm long x 1.5 cm wide & 15.5 cm long x 1.75 cm wide Total graft/hair count: 3225gr/7222 hairs 1's ??“ 639 = 639 hairs 2's ??“ 1458 = 2916 hairs 3's ??“ 845 = 2535 hairs 4's ??“ 283 = 1132 hairs You had inner sutures (dissolvable sutures) along with nylon sutures on the outside, which must be removed with in two weeks. Trichophyic closure was also done. Pictures are available here: http://picasaweb.google.com/sadhairloss/PreOpsAnd1DayPostOp http://picasaweb.google.com/sadhairloss/Day2 3)http://picasaweb.google.com/sadhairloss/Day6 Thanks,
