Paid Part Time Job Opportunity for Dedicated Members

Recommended Posts

Dear members of our community,

Our hair restoration community has been and remains #1 in helping hair loss sufferers find credible information and treatments for hair loss. Thanks to the dozens of active and dedicated members who regularly participate by sharing their experiences, photos, and answering questions, our community's growth has exploded upward in the last couple years. It is because of this increasing popularity and growth that we are looking for a paid part time forum co-moderator / editorial assistant amongst the dedicated members of our forum.

This ongoing part time paid opportunity has the potential to grow into a full time position with time. The ideal candidate will have a posting history with a track record of constructive, civil, and supportive advice and feedback being given to members of our community. Experience and knowledge of search engine optimization and online promotion, web and social network publishing and graphics is a plus.

The ideal candidate should have impressive writing and editorial skills and have a strong understanding of hair loss and non-surgical and surgical hair restoration. Those we are considering should also have a history of enabling posters to feel comfortable seeking help and sharing their experience.

Job responsibilities will include assisting the Associate Publisher Bill Seemiller in answering questions on and moderating our discussion forum and upcoming social community as needed, answering emails, writing and creating quality content for our popular Hair Loss Q&A blog, and assisting in writing and sending community newsletters.

Being involved in this community for years, I've had the privilege of getting to know many of you and personally witness the dedication and energy you put into helping others. Thus, I can only imagine how difficult selecting only one assistant is going to be.

For those of you who are interested in this opportunity, please send a letter of interest and a copy of your resume to our Associate Publisher Bill Seemiller at help@hairtransplantnetwork.com. Be sure to include your forum name when applying.

Onwards and Upwards,

Bill Seemiller

I don't know if these guys are available, but each of them have offered support to this forum IMHO, as their posts have been balanced and unbiased for the most part. Just a friendly acknowledgment =)

All of these gentleman have different backgrounds and/or have chosen different doctors, but from the posts I have seen, each maintains a level head, tries to look at both sides and have been involved with the site for some time.

Please note this is just my opinion, and there are many, many posters I respect and admire for all their great help and I am sure many are deserving, but this is a unique opportunity for a dedicated individual, much the same as several years ago when Bill was chosen for Asst. Publisher. icon_smile.gif

Again, this is just my opinion and is no way intended to interfere in the decision making process.

Jason,

As a long time and respected member of this community, I certainly value your opinion. I agree that all of the posters you listed plus several others would make excellent candidates. :-)

Honestly, with so many valuable members regularly contributing to this community, it will be hard to select just one. I completely respect and have a deep appreciation for all of our members who spend their efforts helping hair loss sufferers and offering unbiased and level headed feedback on a regular basis.

I look forward to hearing from those who are interested in getting even more involved with our community :-)

Best wishes,

Bill

I do want to say that my list was by no means exhaustive and I know I missed other deserving candidates, just like Maxxy.

Good Luck to all that apply!

Thanks B-Spot/Bill for your kind words.

My opinion is that, in general, between Bill and Pat, and many of the great clinic reps we have here - the 30ish+ posters have a great resource with regards to both medical and the psychological aspects of hair loss and transplantation.

I believe a younger member such as Thana would bring a great deal to the table for those who are in their early 20s who are struggling with their decision to either have or who have had a hair transplant (not to say the slightly older folks like Bill/Pat, B-Spot, etc are not wonderful resources).

Best of luck to all who are interested.

Finally returned to my man-cave (maybe that date I went on went a bit too well icon_razz.gif)...it's great to see that HTN is expanding as it naturally should just as its continued excellence remains solid as a rock. It's always nice to see "good" expand and get fruition, whether it's a good thought, community, or person.

Either way, wanted to say true thx to everyone who brought me up -- I try to be as genuine as possible, and with as much posting as I've done I know that the ensuing honesty I type out through the filter of my head isn't always going to be agreed upon by every person every single time in every way. But, just as I appreciate the fundamental nature in pretty much every poster on the site, that really transcends particular disagreements, it's likewise appreciated that the same can be said for so many others.

thanks for the support b spot icon_wink.gif,

i really appreciate the mention dude but in all honesty i think there are others imho who have far superior knowledge regarding ht's.

I do however try to offer impartial honest advice with the limited knowledge i pocess, and i intend to carry on doing so on all the forums as i have had both poor experiences here in the UK and a superb experience at SMG.......... and i dont like to see people led down the garden path regarding poor clinic choices.

My vote goes to thana

2 poor very poor UK ht's

2 world class repairs with Shapiro Medical Group
