  1. As I am currently trying to find quality hair transplant clinics to represent and work with, can you believe that one of the advice that a doc gave me was to try and see if I can get in with Bosley or MHR?!? I wasn't rude to the guy, but it was not good advice in my book. Thank you for sharing your story. Glad the end result was the one that made all the difference.
  2. Looks good brother. Coming from a Norwood 6+ to having the ability to do something of this magnitude...this indeed should be one hell of an experiment!
  3. Dr.Wong can do wonders with a head like yours. Have you contacted H&W?
  4. Ok fellas, I'll be getting some pics taken today and I'll be highlighting my hair Friday and I'll take shots of that too.
  5. Thinline: If the funds are available and you really want this forum to help you to decide...then I must say with respect to your up to date research, please consider Hasson & Wong. Yeah, I'm partial to them because of my results...but also the countless, YES COUNTLESS others results as well. I traveled to the other side of the United States..and I would have traveled to the other side of the globe with the results I found from this clinic. The travel shouldn't make any difference...because YOU are the guy that is living with this...so do it right the first time. Check 'em out...you'll thank me.
  6. Are you kidding me!!! Dr.Wong has done it again!!! Nice Crown brother...he truely is a Master!
  7. Bill: I will! You said it right...Quality comes from the best. Results speak for themselves. It did to me when I was just gathering info. kaounis: LOL...yeah, it will certainly be something to see if my vision is correct.
  8. Good to see someone embracing the new chapter in thier lives. Excellent work! Hope you stay on this path brother!
  9. wantego: You're welcome. I'm gonna be relying on you guys (and gals) here on the forum for support to keep me from wanting to cut it during those "bad hair days".
  10. You are in great hands! Enjoy the journey and please keep us all posted on a regular basis showing your progress. Have fun!
  11. Dude...I totaly feel your pain brother. Don't worry about it...dating is hard no matter what your norwood scale is at.
  12. Be smart. Hasson & Wong are the best at what they do, and if they say wait...WAIT! I know you're in a place where it's hard not to think of the hairloss and you're freaking out a bit. I get that...but trust me, you don't want to rush into anything...especially if the best of the best told you not to. Be smart, stay on the drugs for quite a while. Between holding off and the new advancments that are always being made in this field...you're gonna love yourself for being patient.
  13. LOL...I should have clarified. The "ugly duckling" stage is something I coined long ago and it caught on like wildfire. This time I just mean going through that period where the hair doesn't look quite right as it grows out long for me. I'm sure you will find that place where you have the perfect length. My brother found his about twenty-five years ago and has maintained that same look by getting it cut religiously every five weeks. So when you find it...I guess keep it that way, right?
  14. wantego: Hmmm...interesting. I know what you mean about cutting it due to managability. But in order to get that "look", I guess you have to go through another "ugly duckling" stage, right? hairthere: They came in perfect! Just take a look at my photos when I post them soon. phxind: Thank you sir! Just doing my part to show those less informed what a quality hair transplant result should look like. Cheers should go to Hasson & Wong though. Pat: I appreciate your nice compliments. I know you're sincere and I look forward to viewing the unveiling of that hall.
  15. TakingThePlunge: Thanks...I really am happy. You and I both have the same feelings regarding HT's and length. So, I'll be the first then. Who knows...some say I look good buzzed, others say a little longer, maybe really long will be "the look". Thanks again!
  16. ReadyForChange: Thank you! Your results look good too. Not bad for four months out. But the kudos must go to Dr.Hasson for his outstanding dedication towards constant improvement in his field. I was just the canvas for which he used to paint on. Wish me luck with my hair growth. This will be the first I've let it grow long since I was 23 years old. And even then it wasn't "that long". Hope I can hold out.
  17. Hey everyone! Wow...can you believe it's been 5.5 years since my first surgery!?! I cannot express how much my life has changed for the better because of Hasson & Wong's amazing abilities. So my plan is to let my hair grow like crazy. As long as I can for at least the next six months to a year. I'll be posting pics very soon from the start of all this. Damn it feels good to have those options again! PS: It was a pleasure to meet you Shakeel...best of luck with your surgery this month!

  19. You're one of the greats! I'm sure you feel wonderful. Temples 'N Crowns baby....Temples 'N Crowns!
  20. LOL...That was funny! Glad to hear you're sight is now restored. Hope you are all doing well!
  21. LOL....I guess if you REALLY wanted to get into it, and try to base it off of some kind of barometer, then you would have to research as Bill suggested and see just what clinic has THE MOST results you're seeking at the level you're judging them on. It's hard to just post a question like this expecting unbiased answers. Unless you're looking to see just what clinic and doctor is mentioned the most. But again...that's not in my opinion the most accurate. Good luck with that!
  22. Excellent evaluation of your reasons of WHY you want to have an HT. However, 1500 grafts are not worth going into surgery for "imo"...or dishing out money for. Without viewing pics and seeing where you "want" to be...it would be hard to access. However, I'd say...save your money...wait a few more years. If it's not something that weighs heavily on you right now, then I'd wait it out and see where my hairloss ends up in a few years. And regards to 'shaving' the recipient area. If it allows the doctor to paint the best possible picture on that canvass of yours...DO IT! It's a very, very, very small sacrifice...the hair grows back and the painting will be so much more exquisite. Good luck.
