  1. Yeah, I had the hair buzzed...but I can't for the life of me find my camera! AH...I know it came home with me...I unpacked it! So, when I do, I'll take some photos for ya'll.....sorry for the delay.
  2. Looks real good! I think your results in the end will prove to be quite outstanding....scar and all! This is when patience is something of a necessity. So practice it well and enjoy the new you coming soon.
  3. NervousNelly: I know what you mean. And I'll take my current density over that bald ass head I had, ANY day of the year! LOL! Thank you for the respect and kudos. kg007: I agree. Yes, being that it was my third surgery and I didn't want to get crazy this last time...I opted to focus on getting a good Tri-Closure technique and any grafts that may come out of it. So, 671 was it...and we worked the plan for temples. I'm estatic about it! Mrjb: Even today with my hair buzzed...I've got "bed hair"...LOL....I love it!
  4. Staples came out today! 85 of those little suckers! I'm a free man....FREE I tell you! Look out world....The Bobman is Back!
  5. Thanks Bushy....I appreciate that. I've notice that yes....my hairline has "softened". So, it makes sense that the temples need that time too. Great advice...to anyone with hairline or temple work. Thanks again!
  6. Bushy: Wow...what a difference! You're a stud! Hope I can come close to you in some way. Nobuzz: Thanks for the nice compliment. Strip was actually taken from ear to ear, we just didn't have the laxity on number three, nor did I want him to get too aggressive. And yep, I'm maxed out at this point. Barring some wonderful breakthrough in the hair transplant industry, I'm done!
  7. gazzagoin2: Thank you for the compliment, it's all part of the plan from the beginning to give back to the community that gave so much to me. And the date wasn't quite as what Joe has eluded to. But there was a grin...I'll leave it at that. Jotronic: What an imagination! You have a gift my friend! Bushy: I noticed that you had very strong temple regions to begin with, and looks like Dr.Hasson just amplified them. Great job and you look incredible! I've never really had temple points to speak of...so its going to be interesting to see what it all looks like in 6-8 months. No luck...just fingers crossed!
  8. balody: I like that...although it could be called "the cherry on the side"...LOL. Thanks for the kudos regarding my crown. I mean, yeah...if you beat it to death, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING could use a little tweaking here and there. But when my feelings start to turn that way, I go back to where I came from and realize just how grateful I am and what a massive change I've been able to accomplish with the talent of Hasson & Wong! And after bouncing back and fourth about the choice of Crown or Temples...heading back to the hotel after surgery...I really felt excited about my outcome and what my future outcome will be. Thank you very much for the compliment...every one means the world to me! Byehair: I'm glad to have had the opportunity with such great results that H&W are able to consistantly churne out, to be able to give back. Frequent visitor....hey, now you're on to something. I do believe that my transformation outweighs any kind of tangible gift that anyone could give me. Words cannot capture what a new personality, through life changing alterations like a hair transplant, can convey. Everything is different because of my newfound approach.
  9. Bill: LOL...Thanks for the reminder bud! I'll be taking pics this Sunday when I get my camera back from a friend. I'm healing along well and the 20th I get my staples out. Might even buzz cut again thereafter. Mark: I'd like to know who were your doctors and graft counts for each? Maybe even put it in the "signature" of your profile??? Thanks for the compliment. I actually like having short hair, but now (like you said about options) every so often I like to grow it long and give it some highlights. I wish you all the best for the next 2000+ graft session. We'd all love to see photos!
  10. Well, it's been one week since my Temple surgery. My donor area feels great. My temple area is now starting to develop that crustiness around the hairs. Looks like the healing has begun. I'll take some shots in the next week so everyone can view my progress.
  11. Bill - Thanks man. I feel great about the decision. And as always...looking foward to a speedy recovery. You're lookin pretty damn good yourself these days. Chat soon.
  12. Hey Everyone! Just got back from surgery. We harvested almost 700 grafts and placed them all in the temple area. After going back and fourth and back again....I feel VERY happy with this decision. The temples REALLY make a huge difference and tie in my hairline work PERFECTLY! I do believe this is my last surgery, and as always Dr.Hasson and the lovely Anna (who placed my temple grafts) were just wonderful! I'm gonna get me some food, watch a little T.V. and hit the sack...update with pics tomorrow.
  13. Thanks everyone....I'm very interested in how things come out tomorrow. We have a game plan, but I'll keep ya'll in suspense for just a day longer. LOL...sorry. Just wanted to mention a great big THANKS to Mike Ferko making a special trip out to Vancouver, in spite of the fact that he was recovering from knee surgery. Wow...what a guy! It's always great to see Mike, but even nicer that he went out of his way to say "hey". Also, Doug and Joe for their hospitality thus far. We took alot of video footage yesterday and today...and as always, they're the nicest people you ever want to meet. Seeing Dr.Hasson again was wonderful. He was genuinely amazed at how well everything has turned out so far. The look on his face was priceless! Ok....I'm off to meet a very nice young lady from one of the stops we made today during our "meet me" video tour. LOL. She's a cutie. Wish me luck tomorrow fellas!
  14. Hey all! In Canada now....getting some video and pics today and surgery tomorrow! Wish me luck!
  15. Rockwell: I agree! Glad I made the choice to get it done when I did...this day and age has got to be the best of times for HT's!
  16. TheEmp: Thanks for the compliment and scrutiny. I think that I just may attempt to do some temple work...but I also want to add to the crown too....so we'll see when it's all done what I really decide. Mrjb: Thank you very much JOBI! It's funny you say that because when I was at my cousin's house on my birthday...she mentioned it to some of her female friends and they didn't believe I turned 40. With the confidence boost of my HT, I feel 27 again.
  17. Ok everyone.....heading out this coming Saturday to Canada! Gonna hang out there for a few days before surgery. Just had my 40th birthday and hope to do some celebrating of my own with some good friends. We'll keep ya posted!
  18. ca_hairloss: The cost could never outweigh the life changing results. In comparison to what I've heard some guys paying for thier HTs...mine was cheap. But if you really want some answers on price and ANYTHING else for that matter regarding hair transplants, contact Mike Ferko of Hasson & Wong. (mike@hassonandwong.com) In response to your assumption regarding mostly everyone needing two HTs...if you have the right doctor thats aggressive in his graft extraction abilities, you may not ever need two HTs. I did because my hairloss was at its maximum and my strategy for placement called for two. I hope that helped, but do contact Mike. Mrjb: Thanks man! It's a trip when people say that...when I remember just a short time ago I was bald and wishing that Dr.Hasson would help me to look like Futzy and guys alike. I'm flattered and honored you think of my results that way! balody: 20 years!?!...Thank you very much! Crown....temples.....crown.....temples.....polish sausage....polish sausage....crown....temples....LOL! Guess it's gonna be a big surprise for everyone when I get this last one done eh? And I'm just hoping for a good Tri-Closure...LOL! Larry David: Cosby....funny....funny. I guess fashion was never really my strong suit. But it's good to be back....Thanks!
  19. jojojo1: I'm a wuss...I don't see myself as muscular...but thanks for the compliment. I'm looking forward to thickening up the crown, but overall...I'm very happy. Thanks again. Bill: Now here's a guy with great muscularity! Ok...I'll just concede now with the fact that YOU'RE the winner....LOL! Thank you and your wife for the nice compliment on my transformation. It's been and still is a blessing.
  20. Mrjb: The reunion went great! Everyone said that I looked like I did in High School. Nice compliments....and when I told a close friend what I had done...she couldn't believe it! I totally tripped her out with my "Fat Bob" photo.LOL! Thanks for the post....
  21. Bill: My laxity is fine...and I am, brother, I am! LOL.
  22. nobuzz4me: The Trico wasn't being "used" at the time of my last procedure. But after I saw the end results of an H&W client only nine months out...and for the life of me, I couldn't find the scar. After that, I just knew I'd have to go in just one more time. I'll have to get back to you regarding what kind of donor I'd have left. SnP: Good to be back! Wow, I'm honored! I do plan to shave the "mane"....need that Buzz Cut....Gotta, Gotta have it! LOL No, I do not use Dermamatch or anything. But wondered just what it would do for me....hmmmmm? sah1974: Yes, Dr. Hasson has made much possible for me and thanks for the compliment on my pics. Stay tuned!
  23. Thanks everyone! Wow, it's great to be loved! Thanks Bill for fixing that glitch! I really appreciate the great compliments...it's great to have the confidence that a full head of hair can bring. And I'm loving all the perks of that very confidence...no doubt. I'll be keeping you all posted. And thanks again!
  24. Hey Everyone!!! I'm going in for my Third and final procedure next month! For those that don't remember me or know me, in September of 2004 I had 4,849 grafts with Hasson & Wong...focusing on the front/top of my head. Then nine months later returned for a 2,955 grafts session for the crown, for a total of 7,804 grafts in two sessions! I've posted some pics to show my progress from the start and finish of my journey. And now, I'm going back to Hasson & Wong for my Third and final procedure to take advantage of the Tri-Closure technique and maybe get about 1,000 grafts and thick up the crown. Miss you all very much and if you know me at all.....you know I'll be keeping you posted!
