  1. notsosure, Hey, thanks for the compliments, and yes, I really think Dr. Charles is a very talented doctor, or "artist" if you prefer. Yes, there does seem to be a lot of negativity on the Internet regarding Propecia, but personally I've experienced nothing in the way of side effects. My own opinion is that if so many hair loss sufferers have reported great results, then it's worth the minimal chance that something negative will happen as a result of taking it. There is absolutely no drug (or food) out there that doesn't have some documented negative. To me it is a lot like researching a large company you are going to do business with. Even if it is a world class business, will there be complaints documented by the Better Business Bureau? Always. You can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time, but you CAN do everything possible to regain and keep your hair! Panama Jimmy
  2. Maxxy, I'm trying to remember. I think it was used in place of a shower for the first 2-3 days, and then as an after shower spray from then on. I hope this helps. Panama Jimmy
  3. Labrat69, I just spent about 5 months up in BC between Whistler and Vancouver. I found the Best Western Chateau Granville to be a real bargain. I think it was $59, but not sure. http://www.chateaugranville.com/courtyard Ask for the Courtyard rooms, which are in a private courtyard adjacent to the main tower, but more private and cheaper! This is also a great location, as you can walk anywhere downtown and also over to Granville Island. This is one of my favorite cities and if you need any info, just drop me a line! Panama Jimmy
  4. I was tired of looking in the mirror or seeing photos of myself, because to me at least, it was obvious I was going very thin, maybe on my way to bald. Instead of a cool crow's peak I had a funky gap, and it just looked horrible! Luckily, I have a friend that has been in the hair restoration industry for about a decade that really knows his stuff. He referred me to Dr Glenn Charles in Boca Raton, FL and the Hair Transplant Network had great things to say about his work. He did a fantastic job! It was very low hassle, as far as surgery goes, with minimal discomfort. The only hard part is waiting for the hair to grow in, but once enough time goes by (8-9 months) it really starts filling in, and one yr later there is just a huge difference. I'm very glad I did it! I decided on Dr. Glenn Charles after researching on this site, which I found to be extremely helpful! I set an appointment with him to discuss the procedure and felt quite comfortable that he would do a great job. I needed my hairline back and we decided on 1,600 grafts on the frontal lobe and temple. The rest is history. I have been taking generic Finasteride daily in order to keep as much of the hair I currently have. I am more confident now in my work and with the opposite sex. It simply takes a great burden, a great source of stress, and throws it out the door!
