  1. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, that is a substantial savings.
  2. Cannot imagine anyone took you up on this, totally inappropriate!
  3. I take it when I go to bed as part of my routine. Mornings tend to be too hectic. Some medications can cause drowsiness so night time is usually recommended for a once daily.
  4. Damo- To answer your question I had 2500 grafts in the last month.
  5. HBT- I'm Laughing out loud. You still need help with spelling
  6. Invisible - A member recently published a list of reputable surgeons. If in your 20s and suffering, then go for it!
  7. Damien- A little toppek might make the difference. You look like a handsome guy so I'm sure you'll be fine either way.
  8. what ever helps, no reason to feel bad about oneself when fixable.
  9. italia- With all due respect can you blame a surgeon after 2 years? If he chose from the top of your head perhaps, however otherwise our body owns some culpability too. Surely not?
  10. You probably prefer not to hear this but go to your Doctor and get a prescription. Ordering propecia without is illegal in the US. Plus you will never know what you are getting! My surgeon sends me 3 months supply at a time for $156.
  11. According to the site Mr Heilman supervises the procedure ( A project management type role it seems). MDs apparently perform the surgery. Be careful! Who is DavidLetterman? Not clear that Mr Heilman actually performed the surgery by reading his note.
  12. Hello Powerplay Was 400 grafts your guess or a recommendation by a surgeon?
  13. Great idea ( flowers, concert tickets etc)!.....just want to make sure those that do the hard work are shown some appreciation. Kez- How far is Brighton from london?
  14. Does a patient typically tip a technician after a procedure. Thanks in advance for response.
  15. 5 sessions ( spaced over 6 months) at $200 or less a pop, no downtime. Do a search on the web for a local provider ( no special expertise required so you don't have to be too choosey.)
  16. IPL should do the same thing ( destroy the root) without invasive surgery.
  17. Would Neosporin with be safe? Any swelling Wantitback? thanks
  18. Hello - Can someone advise how long the swelling lasts and if it is typical for swelling to spread from the head to the facial area? Also, how soon before toppek can be applied again? What about a couvre type product directly on the scar after the stitches come out. Thanks in advance.

  20. We have all benefited from this site. If paying a subscription encourages an MD to post then I say that's a good thing!
  21. Curlykid- I've been on propecia for 10 months and it has worked out really well, more fullness in the back and even toward the front. I just went through a short phase of pimples. I had been socialising more during that time so I attributed it to the beer. Once I cut out the beer I went back to normal.
  22. Toppik works well even on the front if you apply it lightly and hairspray it down. You will not be able to keep it from the wife, that stuff can really mess up a bathroom but a man has to have his secrets so admit nothing!
  23. This is a very interesting discussion, Robert! I often look at pictures of transplant patients and wonder if they look any better, even with a great transplant. I met with a surgeon recently regarding a jaw implant and after our conversation I was not convinced I was going to end up look any more attractive. I always think of Elton John. It appears Elton has had a jaw implant at some point however I could not classify him as a handsome man. Surgery may not be the final solution and placing enormous hopes in it can leave one feeling angry with the world if those around you are no more accepting of you after. I guess we all hope that some little thing (like a transplant or some facial reconstruction) will make us the next Cary Grant. Good hair or high cheekbones or strong jaw line does not necessarily make you handsome. A lot more goes into the magic of being beautiful. It must be very disconcerting for a young man to participate in these discussion groups and find that there are men in their 30's and beyond still very tortured by physical appearances.
  24. Interesting bet...he has a 1 in 15 chance of winning....nothing to do with his hairloss. Interestingly one of the other contestants ( a female) obserserved that he was the one to watch ( before he opened his mouth). Sam is not the brightest.....I 've never forget the scene where he tried to sell some guy a hamburger or something of that nature for a $1000 dollars....his argument: be the first to buy a hamburger for $1000 dollars Another note: Sam is a godawful looking dude.
