  3. God, that's a great question Danger. Everyone I guess is praying for Hair Multiplication to increase the donor supply. Hair transplantation has improved so much in the last 10 years so I imagine our best bet is with the surgeons at this point. When I was in my teens ( 15 years + ago) I thought without a doubt we'd be much further along regarding hairloss. Even in my teens I was very aware of my impending hair doom, of course I had my buddies to remind me Some of those Aholes are bald now and guess who has hair, well, coverage at least.
  4. Stick to the cardio for 6 months and hand weights to keep tone. Otherwise you are exposing yourself to unnessary risk to scar.
  5. Tymman- Your donor area looks fantastic, no doubt. In response to your question I had the front third worked on and noticable shed was in the temples because I had a peninsula of hair in the middle to start with ( my temples broke down in my teens). 90 % of the temples completely shed ie back to where I started. I had some shock around the scar so that may explain why the scar was so obvious.
  6. Very expensive!! 2300 for $8K Another opinion: Yes
  7. Smoothy- Can you please elaborate on your routine for shocking the system after prolonged use of Propecia? How long have you been using propecia effectively? Jacob
  8. Ken - I shaved mine down once the initial shed of new grafts because I found the whole thing rather depressing after those initial post-op days with a nice head of hair. God, I think I did it to #1 and I regreted that decision instantly. The smiley face scar was blatant ( dark hair/ fair skin). Most folks did not ask about it ( out of politeness I guess) but some did; ackward moments for sure
  9. Brav989- From your previous posts I think you had 2200 grafts in the front, right? Are you getting any feedback from the folks around you? is it a density issue or a concern that hair has not grown in some areas? What % growth do you think you are at this point?
  10. No Ben, but I left my virginity in Bretagne, I performed like a rockstar for all of 9 seconds.
  12. I did review videos, however the overwhelming decision-maker for me was customer testimonials and picture galleries here and on the MD's site. I find myself somewhat skeptical of canned interviews, be they patient or doctor.
  13. It really depends on the density of the donor area. If the individual hairs are spread far apart then a #1 will not cover sufficiently. I have relatively low density so a #3 is the lowest blade without a line across the back of the head. At the end of the day would you rather have hair up top or a close cut?
  14. Drop down to 2% and see if it eases up.
  15. Actually I saw your post about cheap shaver and same thing happened to me. I had it set to 4 and it slipped to a 1 so I ended up going all the way. The scar was crystal clear so I was cursing myself daily for a couple of weeks till it filled in.

  17. Dr Keene is in AZ. She seems to have a very strong fan base and does most of the graft placement herself ( What more can you ask) It will grow, hang in there.
  18. Based on other folks response a month on minoxodil is just not enough. Hang in there. Herbal solutions apparently just don't cut the mustard when it comes to MPB hairloss.
  19. Looks like herpes. Hands off. Do you get coldsores? Check with your surgeon for sure.
  20. Terry is spot on as usual. I'd set up a consult with Dr Martinick if I were you. If Dr Martinick is everything Damo says she is then you'll be very clear about your next steps, be it tablets or procedure or both. From the photos on her website she is equally as good as the best in the US. Have you seen the Norwood scale? Where do you fit? Check in with Damo, a frequent contributor from Aussie.
  21. Eric- I just don't remember how I came on it. Give it a shot, I'll bet you get a boost from it. I take the Ultra Saw formula from GNC.
  22. Thx for sharing. YOu have an interesting hairloss pattern. Do you share the same hairloss as other family members? How did they progress. I think 1600 in the hairline ought to get you a very nice result, you'll be able to comb your hair back or part it on the left or right depending on what suits. Hairs that are transplanted tend to stand straight up though.
  23. Oh the groupies are out there alright( just in a different town), but it's the exact same crew funny enough. We knew you were a fop when you had the eyelids done. Enjoy SA Later
