In my opinion, if you are going to India for a HT, you should consider Dr Madhu in Hyderabad. Dr Madhu is recommended on the HT network and also he has posted a lot more of his work for the forum to see than mahadevia has done, also I think the price would work out to be the same. It is better to go to a doctor who has a more established track record, which I feel is Doctor Madhu in this case.
Dr Rajesh Rajput is a greedy hack! Stay away from him. Do a search on this forum and see. If you want a good HT surgeon in India , look up Dr Pathuri Madhu, he is recommended on this forum.
I am very glad to hear Dr Madhu being recommended. Finally all Indian patients will have a good doctor, close to home. I hope he continues displaying examples of his work on this forum.
My redness was gone 2 months post op. However I kept the cap on for 4 months after my ht. It is better to wear a cap especially when you go out in the sun for at least for 6 months after the HT, because direct sunlight is not good for the grafts.
When I was having my procedure, I was so jacked up about the surgery, that I could'nt even check out the techs properly. However, all the people in Dr Feller's clinic are very nice people, In my opinion thats what counts!
RajToor, don't be so negative. Most indians have thick, wavy hair, thats just our hair characteristic. So, I don't think it is the doctor's fault. However more examples of the doc's work should be provided before being recommended on this forum.
